~ Julian's monologue before introducing Ares
Julian Dillinger, later assuming Sark's identity, is the main antagonist of the 2025 science fiction action film TRON: Ares, the third installment in the TRON franchise.
Originally he was formerly the CEO and chairman of Dillinger Systems, previously owned by his grandfather of Edward Dillinger. During his time at the company, Julian created the new Master Control Program called Ares: the most sophisticated program ever created, the ultimate super soldier who he sends to obtain the Permanence Code, even willing to risk anything by obtain it at all cost.
Julian is an ambitious driven businessman who seeks at anything to obtain his hands of reaching obsolete perfection for the Permanence code that would continuingly run ARES to stay on the real world as his next soldier that benefits his grandfather's company would be better than ECOM by any means, even going so far as sabotaging the server farms to obtain the code. Despite his outspoken and compulsive nature, he genuinely cared about his mother Elizabeth, becoming horrified by her death after Athena thwarted her attempt on shutting down the permanence project, He is seen again holding her body in tears before she succumbs to her wounds and attempted to stop the overload of Athena's forces being transferred onto the real world.
Biography[]
Julian is first seen pitching the new ARES project towards his military contractors who would green light in funding his research on the new technology, before the Dillinger 3D printers systems summoned ARES to the human world as he puts on his glasses to await the arrival of his new transfer of the tank before continuing the constructed D.A.R.T to being a vehicle for full-scale war. He would introduce the soldier for the new vehicle named ARES ( originally named after the Master control system) calling him a sophisticated security program that billions of lines of code that allow, During a brief shockwave, Julian would assure the installation of containing AREs with a failsafe that is considered controllable. after the speech Julian meets up with ARES touching a firefly in his open lab with his mother Elisabeth Dillinger who acted as a previous CEO of her company before being superseded by her only son but soon shut's itself down after thirty nine minutes, much to Julian's dismay and points out his plan to his model of obtaining the permanence code controls the future, seeking to win over interest. He is seen in his office when Elizabeth entered Julian's office to see him hacking the ENCOM company by targeting Eve Kim's account and assures towards his mother that anyone wouldn't notice his espionage towards finding any trails looking for the permanence code by locating her, Elisabeth tries to warn her son that his action would be too much of a risk, before overriding the server farm with a small remark "oops" while doing so. His lines of code would send many of his own programs to attack the guardians lead by ARES to attack ECOM's servers in order to steal their data from them, He would save Caius through an avatar before confirming the data wipe, the deployment of the data payload sent a ripple across the servers, effectively sabotaging ECOM's speech. Julian would activate his machine that summoned both ARES and Athena by assigning them using new bikes before dismissing them to follow Eve in the highway who was alerted at protecting the code after her phonecall over the sabotage. Julian would become confused when Eve stole Athena's ride without data records before calling his assistant for plan B by sending him to a helicopter to retrieve Eve using a digitiser gun, Julian's mother Elizabeth berates her son for being reckless after seeing news reports of his attempts of sending his programs to capture Eve to interrogate her, Julian would justify that the world would forgiven him if they would see what he has created as she tells him their own company's intent was changing the world is what kept their family's business or his own actions would burn it to the ground. He would have a conversation with ARES through an avatar alone in his office where he would communicate through the digital world after realizing Eve has no previous records of her existence as he requests for the carrier to be deleted after obtaining the code but ARES would reinstate that deleting the carrier would lead to removing the guardians from both the grit and the real world but Julian would threaten to remove his emotions before dismissing him. When ARES escaped through a transfer from the grid to bring EVE back to the real world, Julian along with the members arrived back at the lab to see ARES attacking his men in order to save EVE as she looks at ARES being fending off against Dillinger's men as Julian awkwardly approached both Ares and Eve over the double-cross, overviewing ARES's deal with EVE for the permanence code before trying to call Back ARES who decides to leave Dillinger's lab with EVE as Julian warns that there "are no second chances, no do overs" the latter to make twenty-nine minute countdown by telling him "better make it count" knowing that ARES will be coming back to the grid once his time on the real world is over. Dillinger would set Athena to be transferred onto the real world by tasking her on recapturing Eve and ARES along with the Permanence code, Athena would agree her given directive before another digital wing-suit vehicle was deployed, Julian is captivated onto the capturing his rogue project before shortly being slapped in the face by his dismayed mother for putting their own family company in a much greater risk than ever before. Julian Dillinger would bring back Athena onto the real world again after the overloaded sensation decreased her timer by EVE, Julian would see Athena in progress of using the lasers to make another transfer, when he questioned who gave her that order, Athena would turn to him and replied "you did sir" before executing the command for her ship onto the human world, Julian protests that the transfer would be too much, before Elizabeth intervenes after realising her own son's unstable actions by renouncing him as CEO by officially taking over the role on behalf of the chairmen, Julian desperately refutes her when she attemps to mark her first official business to shut down the Permanence project. Despite her son's warnings, Elizabeth was stabbed by Athena on removing impediment of the transfer, much to Julian's shock as he would use his jacket to cradles his own mother in his arms as he questions what she has done, Athena would then recounts on fufilling her own adjective of capturing EVE Kim by any means necessary, before departing after scanning any other impediments from her mission after realising Julian is not among them as he would then attempt to override the operation by writing commands to stop the override but was unable to as he silently holds his mother's body in tears before she succumbs to her wounds. Meanwhile, Julian looks solemnly as he sees live camera footage of armed police cars journeying outside of his property as a news speculation points to him as the culprit behind the recent global city attacks through Athena's ship, Julian sees the Sark command on the monitor that the lasers became operational, Julian is forced to flee by turning on the lasers that recalibrate the red energy of transfer onto himself after reversing the process before the police bursted through the door to see Julian briefly surrendering before being transported into the grid from the real world.
In the after credits, we see Julian successfully traveling into the Game Grid where he sees a red disk chamber powered up before interacting with touching the Disc that would inflict onto the surges onto Julian becoming one with the Sark program as the armour latched onto him.

When addressing to Ares, his virtual form is a simulated red-face which is similar to the Master Control Program from the original 1982 Tron movie.
For an unknown reason, he is the only user in the series so far whose programs don't look like him.
While being presented as the main antagonist of the film, His role gets upstaged by Athena who became the primary threat for the remainder of the entire film with Julian becoming less of a threat to the heroes, which is mostly due to incompetents in his part like his grandfather before him.
