Jung Ui-Myeong is the main antagonist of the Sweet Home live action. He is a liquid-like monster who is able to possess humans. He is Cha Hyun-Su’s Archenemy

Biography[]

Along with Shin Jung-Seop and his group, he arrives at Green Home in to find a fugitive gang member. Kyeong-Mo prevents Yoon Ji-Su from being attacked by Kyeong-Mo by warning him that Jung-Seop wants him and will murder him if he refuses to leave. When they reunite with Jung-Seop, he acts as though he is unaware of what Kyeong-Mo is discussing. After An Seon-Yeong dies, Ui-Myeong takes over her body and begins to attack the group. This forces Cha Hyun-Su to kill her and make himself known as a monster. He betrays Jung-Seop on the rooftop by stabbing him in the chest with his hand and throwing him off the building, revealing that he is also a monster, telling the gang leader that he "stepped the line this time." A gang member shoots him in the neck in an attempt to murder him, but Ui-Myeong kills him by quickly expelling the bullet. After Kim Nam-Il pleads for his life, he spares him. When a government aircraft passes above them and drops flyers across the city stating that anyone who turns in a particular infectee will be protected and taken to a safety camp, Ui-Myeong makes an attempt to formally introduce himself to Hyun-Su. He hears Hyun-argument Su's that not all monsters are evil. When a government aircraft passes above them and drops flyers across the city stating that anyone who turns in a particular infectee will be protected and taken to a safety camp, Ui-Myeong makes an attempt to formally introduce himself to Hyun-Su. By demonstrating the Fetus Monster, Hyun-Su tries to persuade him that not all monsters are bad, but Ui-Myeong refutes this by posing the question of whether there are any people who won't injure creatures in return.

Personality[]

Unlike other monsters, Ui-Myeong has a clear intelligence and moral compass. Ui-Myeong is a completely insane monster who believes itself to be superior to humans. He views them as comparing wolves to rabbits, claiming it's not a crime for one to kill one. He is cruel and sadistic, taking great pleasure in tricking and killing humans. He will also kill humans without second thoughts when he suspects they might disclose his location to the military.

He is affable towards other monsters as shown with Hyun, though this is more out of fanaticism than kinship. He will go through any trouble to make Hyun embrace his monster side, even going as far as forcing him to kill a woman to do so.
