Junior is the secondary antagonist of the eleventh book in Dav Pilkey's Dog Man series, Twenty Thousand Fleas Under the Sea, a spin-off to the Captain Underpants franchise.
He is a microscopic demodex mite who ended up destroying the flying submarine that Dog Man and his friends were on.
History[]
When Piggy shrunk and slapped the flying submarine, it got stuck on Piggy's nose after he scratched it, and the propeller was broken and fell into a sweat gland. It landed on a sleeping Junior.
Then, Dog Man, Molly, and Li’l Petey came to go and collect the propeller, waking up Junior. When the submarine was completely fixed, Junior destroyed the submarine again and slowly ate everyone on board, except for Bub and Mike the Fly.
Mike then got an idea to use pumpkin pies to stop Junior, so the two quickly collected pumpkin pies from the kitchen and threw them at Junior, who got a lick of it, and liked it! Then, Mike told Junior that if he doesn't spit out his friends, he wouldn't get any more pies. Junior then spit out the people on board and followed the pumpkin pie wagon out of the submarine into the sweat gland.
