Well, we gave it a shot, didn't we? I mean huge monkey statues, they come and go, but parking lots are forever.

Biography[]

Curious George (2006)[]

At the beginning of the movie, Junior is seen attempting to persuade his father to sign a contract that will have the Bloomsberry Museum torn down when put into effect, which will then have a large multi-level parking lot built in its place - with no daily maximum on the rate for a large profit. Mr. Bloomsberry is dissuaded of this by Ted when he tells the museum owner that they could get a really big new exhibit. Mr. Bloomsberry tells Ted of a large monkey statue in Africa - the Lost Shrine of Zagawa - that he could retrieve, and gives Ted a map. Unfortunately, Junior rips out half of the map while the others aren't looking, and puts a big X on the end to misguide Ted.

Junior is dismayed after overhearing a call between his father and Ted, who claimed to have found something. Ted sends a picture of a miniature version of the shrine to the museum, but the image's angle leads Mr. Bloomsberry to believe it was larger than 40 feet tall. Junior seems to give up on his dream of having a parking lot, and is later seen packing up his parking lot model in his office. He then notices that Ted and George had arrived back at the museum, and sneaks out on a ledge between the adjacent windows to eavesdrop. After he hears that the 'shrine' is only three inches tall, he did a small victory dance and falls off the ledge into the bushes.

Junior later appears in a press conference that Ted is in after he reveals the 'shrines' true size to Mr. Bloomsberry. Junior tries to guilt trip Ted into revealing the truth to the public after the shrine was promoted. When George makes a nearby Apatosaurus skeleton fall apart, Junior, who went see on what happened exclaims in amusement before kicking both Ted and George out of the museum.

Much later Ted and George returns to the museum with an overhead projector. Junior, upon seeing them, expressed annoyance that their back. When the projector was demonstrated which projected a giant version of the miniature idol, Junior got so scared that he immediately hid behind his father's back. When Ted tells Mr. Bloomsberry of his solution for the shrine problem by using the overhead projector, Junior began questioning if they're really desperate to lie to the public that the idol is really big, his father just shrugs it off and proceeded to congratulate Ted, calling him 'the son I never had'.

Consumed by jealousy, Junior, while Mr. Bloomsberry and Ted were focused on the projected idol, proceeded to secretly spill some latte from his coffee cup onto the overhead projector and swiftly gives it to George so that the monkey could take the blame. This proved to be successful as when the projector exploded because of the latte, Ted immediately thought that George was responsible. Taking advantage of it, Junior proceeded to wrongly blame Ted for the incident as well as crushing their only chance at saving the Bloomsberry museum. At the same time, he pretended to care on saving the museum. Because of Junior's actions, this caused his father to give up on trying to save his own museum, and his son proceeded to comfort him. As he is escorting his father away, Junior gives Ted a smug look.

After Ted saves George and they were able to find the real Shrine of Zagawa, which now stands the museum, Junior, who is working as a valet was seen offering his service to Ms. Plushbottom, who is the rich neighbor of Ted. When she impatiently tells him that she and her driver had been waiting, Junior, who is out of breath, tells her that the parking lot was five blocks away. When Ms. Plushbottom reveals that she herself is the owner of that parking lot, Junior began crying in devastation over being unable to get the parking lot he wanted. Later, when he tells his father that he had parked all the cars of the tourists that had come to the museum, Mr. Bloomsberry surprisingly tells his son that he did a good job. Overcome with emotion, and finally having gotten some praise from his father, an overjoyed Junior proceeded to have some hug time with him. A while later, he is seen watching from a window with everybody else as the rocket that was outside the museum was about to launch, with both Ted and George inside.

Curious George 2: Follow that Monkey,[]

Junior makes a non-speaking cameo in which he started his very own business. He is seen in a T-Rex costume while getting money from a customer.

Video Game[]

Junior only appears in the level, Museum Mayhem. He knocks on Ted's door asking him did he forget the press conference. Ted said no and Junior told him to get going and the reporters are waiting in the exhibit hall. But after Ted mentions the word "monkey". Junior becomes suspicious and sets off to find George after Ted leaves.

Without Junior seeing him, George uses the air vent to make his way to the mammoth exhibit through the air vent. In the mammoth exhibit, George makes his way to the idol by climbing up the mammoth and pterodactyl. Junior said that he got better things to do and sets of the alarm by turning on the Laser Tech 2000. George makes his way through the lasers and use another air vent to get to the transportation exhibit.

In the transportation exhibit, George makes his way to the train and the second idol by climbing the car and riding the plane. Junior quickly realizes that today is Tuesday and the new Parking Lot Monthly comes out today and heads to his office. He sets on the Laser Tech 3000, but George makes it without setting off and heads to the space exhibit.

The space exhibt is broken and missing a gear and it's in Junior office. George has to rattle each of the three vases to distract Junior then jumps on the pedestal next to Ogg and Grogg and stand like a statues so Junior won't caught him. After 3 distracts, Junior gets frustrated and leaves, so George can go into his office and find the missing gear.

Personality[]

Junior is best described as being very envious at the amount of attention and love that his father gives Ted. While not outright evil, Junior doesn't seem to have any redeeming qualities. He actively antagonizes Ted and seems to love seeing him in emotional turmoil. He's quite good at shifting blame of incidents onto Ted, and even when his father is in a low spot, Junior consistently lets him know that he is his son and that he deserves more attention.
