Junko is a sagacious spirit who serves as the main antagonist of Legacy of Lunatic Kingdom, the fifteenth game of the Touhou Project series. She is a sworn enemy of the Lunarian species who orchestrates an invasion of the Moon in order to force out the Lunarian people living there and to assassinate the Lunarian Goddess Chang'e. She does so by populating the Moon with fairies, who in turn "contaminate" it with their life force. While at first it seems that her plan will succeed, she is stopped short of killing Chang'e by the game's protagonists, who confront her on the Moon and promptly defeat her.
