Justin is a supporting character of the Canadian animated franchise Total Drama.
He is a handsome though somewhat vain teenage boy who joins Total Drama, bent on winning the million dollar prize like every contestant. Though he quickly gets voted off in the first season thanks to Heather's malicious machinations, Justin gets a second shot at the money in the second season, where he tries to manipulate his female teammates with his good looks into doing the dirty work for him and carry him all the way to the finale, though his somewhat successful schemes come to an end once Chris McLean allows Courtney to rejoin the competition.
He was voiced by Adam Reid.
Biography[]
Total Drama Island[]
Justin debuted along with the rest of the contestants in "Not So Happy Campers Part 1", where he arrived at Total Drama Island by boat and immediately won over all of the female contestants (and Owen) with his glorious appearance and gentlemanly charm. Chris McLean admitted upon Justin's arrival, that he accepted him to join the show, based solely on his looks, which Justin was perfectly okay with. Owen hit on Justin and complimented his pants, which Justin thanked him for. However, Owen later thought that he embarrassed himself in front of Justin and racked his brain, calling himself stupid. Later, Justin was placed on the team, The Screaming Gophers.
In "Not So Happy Campers Part 2", Justin competed in the cliff diving challenge and landed outside of the diving ring, where he was approached by some sharks. However, after looking at Justin's beautiful face, the sharks fell in love with him and helped swim him back to shore, safe and sound. Ultimately, his team won and celebrated in the hot tub that night.
In "The Big Sleep", Justin cheated in the stay awake for 12 hours challenge, by painting his eyelids to make it look like he was still awake. When Chris noticed this, he disqualified him from the challenge, albeit complimenting him for how well-done this trick was. Despite Justin's failure, his team still won thanks to Gwen staying up longer than Duncan by a couple minutes.
In "Dodgebrawl", Justin joined the rest of the Gophers in applauding Gwen for her services in helping them win the last challenge. Confused, Lindsay asked Justin why they were all clapping. Their challenge for that day was to play dodgeball. During the challenge, Justin was pelted by the dodgeballs. This was the first challenge that his team lost. Fortunately for Justin, he recieved a marshmallow, meaning that he got to stay another day. Instead, it was Noah who was eliminated, for doing nothing to help his team, outside of making sarcastic remarks about his own teammates.
In "Not Quite Famous", the teams were all going to have their members do performances for a talent show. While auditioning for the talent show, Beth twirled some flaming batons and set a bush on fire. Justin stepped in to put it out with a fire extinguisher. After which, he tore off his shirt and drank a bottle of ice cold water. When he did this, a drop of water dripped out of his mouth, rolled down his face, and landed on one of his upper abs, quickly evaporating into steam, due to just how hot his shirtless abs were. This had all the girls staring at him in awe. Heather admitted that because of this unexpected impromptu performance, Justin would be put on the roster for the talent show, to which nobody had any objections to. During the talent show, Justin did a reenactment of the wet chair dance from Flashdance, which got a very high ranking from the talent show judge, Chef Hatchet. It seemed that the Gophers were going to win. However, thanks to Heather reading Gwen's diary aloud, which was seen as a very cheap shot, she took a blow to her team's score, which was later trumped by Harold's beatboxing, leading the Killer Bass into the lead. The Gophers lost the challenge but Heather needed to avoid getting herself voted off for her performance. Heather voted for Justin and because she was in an alliance with Lindsay and Beth, she got them to vote for him too. She bribed Owen with cake to vote him out too and because Izzy was dating Owen, she fell in pattern. Ultimately, Justin got voted off the island and this was the end of his career in the show.
In "Haute Camp-ture", Chris took a visit to Playa Des Losers, where he met with all of the previously eliminated contestants. This included Justin, who dove off of a diving board with beautiful form and landed in the water, while Katie and Sadie watched him in admiration. Noah, however, was not impressed and called Justin "the anti-me". Justin gathered around the pool that night with the rest of the contestants to choose which of the currently acting participants would be voted off. Due to everybody saying "Leshawna", it was her who was voted off.
In "I Triple Dog Dare You", Heather got her head shaved and she screamed so loud that it could be heard by all of the previously eliminated contestants back at Playa Des Losers, including Justin.
In "The Very Last Episode ... Really", the eliminated contestants came back to the sidelines to either help or hinder the final two, Owen and Gwen. Heather tried to hinder Gwen by tearing Justin's shirt off to distract her, while she was trying to cross a balance beam over shark infested waters. Justin emitted a glorious glow so majestic, that it distracted not only Gwen, but also the sharks in the water and the birds that flew in the skies above. Trent got in the way and encouraged Gwen to ignore the incredibly hot man candy and just focus on the challenge, to help Gwen to snap back to reality and continue the game.
In "Total Drama, Drama, Drama, Drama Island", Justin did some sexy poses for Katie and Sadie back at Playa Des Losers, as they fawned over his gorgeous body. Justin told them about how he signed a deal with three separate modeling agencies, one for his face, one for his body, and one for his knees. Chris McLean later announced that there was a new challange to win $10,000,000 that every contestant was allowed to play. All of the contestants on the island would run around Total Drama Island to look for the briefcase full of money and return it to Chris to win. During this challenge, Justin casually walked around the island, while Katie and Sadie lovingly followed him, serving as his unofficial allies. In the confessional, Justin bragged about how using his good looks was a great way of him manipulating the other contestants into giving him what he wanted. He'd later demonstrate this, when Gwen and Leshawna came by and, won over by his charm, told him about how they checked the entire outskirts of the island and found nothing, which assisted Justin in the rest of his search, much to the annoyance of Trent. He later used his beauty to win over Izzy and Eva, after he spotted them with the briefcase of money. The two girls tried desperately to resist the temptation to give him the money but after he ripped off his shirt, they completely submitted to his demands and he took off with the money. Justin would later come across the alliance of Owen, Cody, Tyler, and DJ, who demanded the money from him. Justin simply told them no and the four of them stood there in silence, not knowing what to do for a few seconds. Cody distracted Justin by telling him that the paparazzi was here and Justin fell for it, as Cody snatched the money and took off with it, along with the rest of his alliance. Justin later charmed Chef into giving him the keys to his airplane, which he used to parachute down and drop in on Lindsay, who currently had possession of the money. However, he'd soon have the money taken from him again by Izzy, Eva, and Noah, who ambushed him with paintballs and slammed a bucket over his head. This time, thanks to Noah's prompting, they were able to ignore Justin's beauty and run off with his money. Later, a diving board with a bunch of contestants would collapse and slide across the island, getting Justin's parachute caught on it and dragging him with them into the water. At this time, Chris announced that the challenge was over and nobody had won the money. However, every contestant who was in the water at the time, (one of which was, of course, Justin), would be returning for the next season, Total Drama Action.
Total Drama Action[]

When Justin returned to Total Drama Action in "Monster Cash", he arrived with the other contestants in a limo and charmed Beth, by telling her that she looked hot as ever without her braces, even though he was actually just complimenting his own hotness, after seeing his reflection in her shiny white teeth. In the confessional, Justin vowed to be a lot more sneaky and manipulative this season, saying that he was planning to last longer than his inadequate performance in Total Drama Island.
Basically, he would use his good looks to get girls into helping him with the challenges. He showed to be lazy and easily upset whenever his face got damaged. He didn't force the girls to help him directly. Instead, he charmed and trick them into assisting him.
Appearance[]
Justin is a 16-year-old Polynesian male with dark raven hair and vibrant deep-blue eyes with pronounced black pupils. He has a sculpted face with chiseled features, broad shoulders, and a six-pack of washboard abs. He wears a dark green shirt, navy blue jeans, green sandals, and a necklace.
Personality[]
As a supermodel of incredible beauty, Justin is so handsome that he can make anyone around admire his looks. Since he appeared little in the first season, he started out as a seemingly nice guy before getting eliminated early in the competition.
In the Total Drama Island special, Justin's new character emerged when he proved to be conniving and deceitful as well as ego-maniacal when it came to wanting the million dollars for himself. This was further explored in the second season as Justin proved to be extremely vain, narcissistic, and arrogant, selfish, and treacherous, impatient, and mean-spirited at most points to the other contestants around him. This would eventually prove to be his downfall when he gets eliminated in the second half of the season.
Trivia[]
- He is indirectly responsible for Courtney, Katie, Sadie, Tyler, Noah, Cody, Ezekiel, and Eva not getting on Total Drama Action .
- Like the other antagonists, Justin got a fitting punishment for his wrongdoings in Total Drama Action, by getting manipulated by Courtney (who he liked), when Justin was the one manipulating girls with his good looks. This would also end up happening to Alejandro Burromuerto in Total Drama World Tour, this time by Heather.
- Unlike most Total Drama antagonists, Justin's karma (losing his good looks) gets over very quickly and Justin is left with more friends than other antagonists have. It's likely that this is because Justin didn't do too many bad deeds throughout his run in the show and that many contestants (especially the ones who didn't participate in Total Drama Action or were kicked off very early) didn't know about his scheming nature.
- The reason for which Justin was replaced by Courtney as the second season's main antagonist halfway in the season was because the writers realized that he didn't work as a villain. It was later considered to bring Justin back in Total Drama World Tour now as a more competent threat, but the writers came up with the character of Alejandro, which means Justin was a prototype of the character that evolved into one of the most charming Total Drama villains.
