I don't see why Derby doesn't want to ally with the Jocks. It'd be a perfect match.
~ Justin Vandervelde stating his opinion about Jocks.

Justin Vandervelde is a supporting character in the 2006 video game Bully, serving as a supporting antagonist in the second, third and fifth chapters.

He is a student at Bullworth Academy and one of the members of the Preppies clique.

He was voiced by Jaesun Celebre.

Biography[]

Justin is a wealthy student who is has a keen interest in sports; being a boxer like his fellow cliquemates, playing on the Preppies dodgeball team, and being a good swimmer. For his enthusiasm into doing sports, he is willing to join the sports team and wonders whether Jock leader Ted would want a Prep friend. He also wants to form an alliance with the Jocks for the same reason, and cannot understand why Derby opposes it.

He seems to like involving eggs in his actions; such as claiming to have hit a Greaser in the back of the head, stating it was "perfect", and making egg-related puns, such as "these yolks crack me up" and "you look a little scrambled".

He seems to be a bit of a coward, as during a fight there can be slight traces of fear in his voice when taunting, and offering to pay his attacker not to hit him. He also seems to admire Greek culture, complimenting Jimmy's clothing by calling it "pleasingly Grecian" and lamenting that there aren't enough Greek marble sculptures at the Academy.

Bully[]

Justin carries a supporting role throughout Chapter 2, backing up his fellow cliquemates. In Prep Challenge, he is the second opponent Jimmy faces, before Parker Ogilvie and after Chad Morris. After Jimmy beats all of them, Justin informs him that he isn't eligible to win the prize (a house in Old Bullworth Vale worth $1,000,000) because his parents aren't members of "The Board". Instead they give him a run-down house underneath the lighthouse for his use. In the mission The Eggs, he is given the key to the gates of Tad Spencer's house. Jimmy has to fight him get the key.

In Chapter 3, he, along with Tad, accompanies Gord Vendome to fight back the Greasers at the BMX Park. In Chapter 5, he is seen while buying advance test papers from Mr. Hattrick and then selling them to greasers Lucky and Vance and jocks Casey and Mandy.
