Juzo Kumiya is a minor antagonist of the manga and anime series Jujutsu Kaisen. He was one of the curse user part of Kenjaku’s group that aided the interruption during the battle Kyoto and Tokyo high school.
He is voiced by Tetsu Inada in Japanese and by Xander Mobus in English.
Appearance[]
Juzo is a bald man with bronze-colored skin of muscular build. His most noticeable feature is his eyes surrounding by dark mark. He wears a dark apron over his naked torso that is suspended around his neck by bones decorations and his attire completes with pants and boots.
Personality[]
Juzo openly displays a very sadistic nature that enjoys killing and happens to be very careless in battle such as his encounter with Satoru Gojo to which he reacted simply by running towards him only to get all his limbs getting severely damaged by the six eye user. Furthermore with his enjoyement of killing he is willing to make his victims’ bodies into “hanger racks”. However according him, he would rather take on young females or someone strong as he stated that he would be able to make better things in contrast to elder peoples.
It is also said that because have no interests on him because their corpses will fade away once killed. Additionaly, alongside with his reckless attitude, he is also overconfident and easily underestimates his opponents such as his encounter with Yoshinobu that made him disappointed due being an elder person. He has somewhat shown some level of intelligence while facing the old man in which he manage to figure out his ability.
Biography[]
Before invasion of attacking Jujutsu High, Kenjaku stated that they plan on bringing Juzo as he can only be used once. Juzo also gave his comrade Haruta Shigemo a weapon that he crafted.
Once the operation started activate his Curtain ability that restrain and covers all area where the invasion occurs so that Gojo would not able to enter unlike for others.
He soon after confronts Yoshinobu and Utahime. Utahime is told to leave the men to him. Because of this Jozu is disappointed that he has to face an old man stating that he won’t be able to make anything with him. Juzo somewhat manage to find out about his ability leading him excited in which he thinks about turning him into a wallet. Gojo suddenly appears at the scene, without thinking Juzo rushes to his new target. As Gojo was about to attack, Yoshinobu tells him to not kill him before his all his limbs are getting seriously injured by Gojo’s ability. After Kenjaku’s invasion, he was being interrogated by the other but does not tell them much things.
