Kacper Cohen is the overarching antagonist of the video game Ace Combat Infinity. He is the former chief developer of Wernher and Noah Enterprises weapons company, and the leader of the USEA Federation. Disgruntled by the United Nations' mismanagement of the world affairs in the fallout of the Ulysses Disaster, he staged the USEAn insurgency under the excuse that his federation would be a better alternative to them.
Biography[]
Cohen worked for Wernher and Noah Enterprises as a weapon designer, being responsible for MQ-90L UAVs and OLDS weapon system. After his creations were used for a terrorist attack on Tokyo in May 2019, a UN-led investigation ended with him being expelled from the company.
In exile, Cohen formed the Sons of Troia terrorist organization, which staged multiple attacks, kidnapped the Greymen and executed them, and seized one of the Stonehenge defense systems. As his forces took over a vast number of Eurasian territories, Cohen publically proclaimed the formation of the "USEA Federation", claiming its creation was driven by resent towards the UN's ineffectiveness. United Nations Forces proceeded to fight USEAn forces for control over the world, though with the game's campaign ending without a proper conclusion, the war's outcome and Kacper's fate remain unknown.
Personality[]
LIttle is known about Kacper Cohen's personality, but he presents himself as a well-intentioned extremist with humanity's best interests at hand. He urges it to band together to manage the fallout of the Ulysses disaster, and claims to be a better man than the UN leadership to assist them in it. Even though his actions resulted in the death of the Greymen, he claims that they deserved it for exploiting humanitarian disasters. Nevertheless, his claims are often dismissed as nothing but propaganda, hinting that his enemies see him as a self-serving hypocrite. It should be noted that Cohen didn't make any moves to change the world order until his weapons were found in the hands of terrorists, with the circumstances of them acquiring said weapons remaining murky.
