Kacricon Cacooler is a Titans pilot serving as Jerid Messa's wingmate and a supporting antagonist in Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam.
He was voiced by Kouji Totani in the Japanese dub and by Ben Jeffrey in the English dub.
History[]
Kacricon was one of the Titans pilots selected to test the three RX-178 Gundam Mk-II units. In battle, Kacricon mistook the pilot of another Gundam Mk-II to be his close friend Jerid Messa, when in fact it was Kamille Bidan, who used the chance to corner the Gundam and forced Kacricon to surrender it to him.
Kacricon later took part in the mission to recover the stolen Gundam Mk-II's from the AEUG. Piloting the RMS-106 Hizack, Kacricon engaged in battle against the AEUG. He attempted to attack the Argama, but was knocked out by Kamille and Franklin Bidan.
After the Titans extended their operations to the moon to locate the Argama, Kacricon and Jerid were given the new RMS-108 Marasai. The two attempted to use the speed of the Marasais to stagger their attacks, while ducked behind a formation of rocks and the other pilot would appear and attack the Gundam. The plan worked until Quattro Bajeena came to Kamille's aide and forced Kacricon and Jerid to retreat.
Kacricon fought against the AEUG again when they launched an operation against the Earth Federation headquarters in Jaburo. Piloting his Marasai, Kacricon engaged Kamille in his Gundam Mk-II. However, the Marasai's Ballute ended up deploying to keep him from burning up in the atmosphere. After Kamille destroyed the ballute, causing Kacricon and his Marasai to burn up in the atmosphere. As he died, Kacricon cried out "Amelia", the name of his lover.
