Kaden Blake is an antagonist in the Law & Order: UK episode "Deal". He was a thirteen-year-old boy who shot and killed a woman named Lia Brown.
He was portrayed by Jamie Cummings.
Biography[]
When Lia Brown was found dead in her bed, her boyfriend was suspected as the killer until the police learned that the bullets was fired from over a hundred meters away. Thus, Kaden Blake, who was the son of a known addict, was suspected. Kaden claims that he was aiming for his friend, Chayse Wade, and that he missed the bullets which then hit Lia's flat. However, it was later discovered that he was under instructions of gang leader and local dealer, Mark Ellis, and Kaden is offered a reduced sentence in exchange for helping take Ellis down. It was also revealed that Kaden's mother had sold him to Ellis in exchange for free drugs and that Ellis had tortured the boy ever since. Ellis was found guilty and was finally arrested while Kaden was given a sentence in a young offender's institution. However, when Detective Matt Devlin was escorting the boy to the child care unit, a gunman fires shots at Kaden but Devlin jumps in and take the bullet for him, sacrificing himself, leaving Kaden in shock of what had just happened.
