Kagawa's team are a group of scientists at Kanzaki Shirou's old university who desire to seal away the mirror world and foil his plans. They initally start of small and approach Shinji who is a Kamen Rider but the latter opposes their philiosophy of sacrificing those to protect the majority. They are the secondary antagonistic faction of Kamen Rider Ryuki.
History[]
A man named Kagawa who was a professor at Kanzaki's university once stumbled upon his plans to sustain the life of Yui Kanzaki and was repulsed by that man's plan. Viewing Yui as a monster and dangerous entity he wants to become a hero to stop the mirror monsters that Yui could release.
In order to do this he collects some of his students who too believe in becoming "heroes" and they study the mirror world. At one point he finds where Kanzaki conducted his experiments. He meets Yui at one point and keeps away from the mirrors once she notices them. After this he puts the plan into motion. Nakamura becomes Alternative a replica of a rider created by Kagawa. Although in a bid to kill the one he resents, Toujo another student murders the first alternative.
This kind of infighting plagues them as Nakamura was doing it for revenge for everyone Shirou had killed with his experiments. Now the riders opposed them and even with Toujo as Kamen Rider Tiger, the other riders like Ren wouldn't let them close the mirror world. Soon Toujo killed Kagawa when he was so close and what Kagawa came to predict came to pass.
