Kai Shintani is a major antagonist from Blue Archive, she serves as the overarching antagonist of Dragon & Tortoise, Working Together for a Better Future and Radiant Moon, Raucous Dream, and the main antagonist of The Senses Descend.
Once a student and former head of the Eastern Alchemy Society, she would eventually join the Seven Prisoners and would plot to have her archnemesis, Kisaki Ryuuge, killed.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Kai was once a student of Shanghaijing and the president of the Eastern Alchemy Society, but because of her ambitions and desires to seek more knowledge, she went too far with her research and was expelled and arrested without a proper trial.
This caused her to join The Seven Prisoners and seek revenge on the student president, Kisaki.
Dragon & Tortoise, Working Together for a Better Future and Radiant Moon[]
She made her debut by being the one behind the frame up of the Black Tortoise Pomerade being in possession of the 10,000-year ginseng. And what was quite disappointed in her plan failing.

Appearance[]
Kai is a pale-skinned woman of black narrow eyes, long hair with the left side black with a white string and vice-versa on the right side.
She wears a black quipao dress, with dark gray decorations of trees in the skirt and smoke or clouds in the torso. Exposing her cleavage in a opening and sleeveless. From the neckline to down of the cleabage the dress has golden details. Over the dress she wears a white coat with black details like rhombs. the fists on the sleeves or a chinese vertical text. She wears a long hoses with black nozzles and of footwear, a long black heels. Also, in her hands she wears a black gloves, and a golden bracelet in the right arm.
Her halo is a navy blue spiked circle from under to out with a big yellow dot.
Personality[]
Kai is a manipulative and obsessed person; her arrogance and quest for greatness is what caused her to get expelled and arrested.
She is also a complete sociopath, as she was willing to poison numerous students without remorse and viewed them a necesary sacrifices for her work. And questioned if Sensei can really help a pure evil student.
Yet, despite that, she is still capable of honor, as she would accept defeat and return to imprisonment.
Trivia[]
- She is, by far, the only member of the Seven Prisoners to be recaptured and reimprisoned.
- Because of the color of her hair, many fans have compared her to Kayoko, another character from Blue Archive.
