Kaiko (芥子, Kaiko) is a major antagonist of the Tokyo Ghoul franchise.
He is high ranking member of the mysterious organization V and played a key role in the execution of "Dragon," a devastating plan orchestrated by V.
He was voiced by Jiro Saito in Japanese and by Bruce Dubose in English
Appearance[]
Kaiko is a mysterious figure. He is bald and his eyes lack visible irises. He typically wore a black hat and is dressed in a formal suit paired with a long black coat, a red tie, and gloves, giving him a refined but ominous presence.
Personality[]
Kaiko was very loyal to V, He worked behind the scenes to maintain the organization's dominance. He viewed both Aogiri Tree and the C.C.G. as threats to the delicate balance between humans and ghouls and attempted to manipulate both sides for V's benefit — though his efforts ultimately failed.
Powers and Abilities[]
Half-Human-Physiology: As a failed half-ghoul experiment, Kaiko gained enhanced physical capabilities, though this came at the cost of a shortened lifespan.
Ghoul Physiology: After becoming a full ghoul, Kaiko gained standard ghoul traits such as regeneration and physical strength.
Kagune: Kaiko's kagune can attack opponents from a long distance.
Cloning: Kaiko was shown to be able to make clones of himself during the Dragon arc.
