Kama Doubler (カマダブラー Kama Daburā, lit. Sickle Doubler) is a minor antagonist of Uchuu Keiji Gavan who appears in episode 16. He is a mantis-like Doubler who helps Makuu with taking the crystal of Planet Lake from Dr. Barnes, whom he entrusted it onto his son Ben.
He was voiced by late Eisuke Yoda, who also voiced Volcano Mask General Magman in Himitsu Sentai Gorenger, Shine in J.A.K.Q. Dengekitai, Führer Taboo in Dai Sentai Goggle V, and Lu-Long, Parchis, Demost and Silver Shark in Sekai Ninja Sen Jiraiya. His human form was portrayed by Hidekazu Nagae.
Biography[]
Kama Doubler has enlisted by Hunter Killer to help Makuu with taking the crystal of Planet Lake from Dr. Barnes and his son Ben. While Retsu became suspicious of Ben's behavior, the Doubler (in his human disguise) attacked him and tried to bash him with a metal beam, until he was kicked in the back which turns back into normal. After Retsu transformed into Gavan, he used his chained kama to ensnared him so he could attack him, but only for Gavan to kick him with Gavan Kick. The Doubler had no choice but to (presumably) teleport himself before the explosion has spawned.
Later, after the Doubler and the rest of Makuu were managed to catch up with Ben and Kasumi, he went to fought with Kasumi and destroyed the female android in front of Ben's eyes. As Hunter Killer was about to capture Ben, Gavan has arrived to save him from Makuu's clutches. During their fight, Gavan kicked the Doubler with Spiral Kick. After they were dragged into Makuu Space, Gavan is struggled to fought with the Doubler due to him received an energy from Makuu Space. Despite this, Gavan managed to finished off the Doubler with Gavan Dynamic.
