Kamikira is a longhorn beetle-themed monster of the Satan Empire and an antagonist in episode 31 of The Kagestar.

He is voiced by Ryuji Saikachi, who previously voiced Tonbogira in the same series and also voiced Spider Man in the Kamen Rider series.

Biography

Kamikira was sent by Doctor Satan to obtain the formula for the powerful jet fuel UX developed by Dr. Kibayama. Kamikira attacked Dr. Kibayama's lab and threatened him to hand the formula over, but Kibayama chose to burn it rather than let it be used for evil. Kamikira then opted to the kidnap the scientist and bring him a Satan Empire base, where he and Doctor Satan deduced that Kibayama must have hidden a copy of the formula somewhere. After Kamikira tried to interrogate Kibayama as to the location of the copy to no avail, Kamikira and a group of Satan Empire Combatants went to kidnap Dr. Kibayama's young son. Kagestar and Bellestar attempted to stop them, but Kamikira held the boy hostage to force Kageo to surrender and captured him as well.

Kamikira brought them both to a freighter that had been repurposed as a Satan Empire base. While he used Kibayama's son to force him to give up the location of the formula, he had Kageo placed on a rope dangling above a vat of acid in order to kill him. However, Kageo was able to swing himself away and into a control panel, causing it to short circuit and fry the rope. Now free, Kageo escaped the freighter with Kibayama and his son on a smaller boat.

Kamikira and his combatants pursued Kageo in an attempt to recapture Kibayama and his son, but Kageo became Kagestar to fight them. Kagestar chopped off Kamikira's antennae, prompting him to exit the scene in a jeep driven by a Satan Empire Combatant. Kagestar was then joined by Bellestar and the two pursued Kamikira. After catching up to him, Kagestar would fight Kamikira again and tear off his pincer claw. Kagestar then hit Kamikira with his "Ryusei Kick", sending him flying to some rocks by the sea and causing him to explode after he let out a shout of "Heil Satan!"
