Kaminariman is a robot of the BAD organization and the main antagonist of episode 8 of Robot Detective K.
He is voiced by Shingo Kamenoto.
Biography[]
After hearing that the aunt of the rich Akizuki family, Mineko, was plotting to kill her nephews to inherit the family's fortune, BAD decided to form a contract with her. As a show of good faith, they had Kaminariman kill the eldest of the siblings, Ichiro, with one of his lightning strikes. As Kaminariman was fleeing the scene however, he ran into K and Shinzo, but managed to evade them and escape.
With Ichiro dead, Kaminariman targeted the other two siblings, Jiro and Saburo, as they were having fun at a bowling alley. Anticipating that Kaminariman would target them however, K arrived just in time to save the two siblings and fight off Kaminariman.
The BAD Leader would later approach Mineko as she was praying to her dragon god and reveal that BAD was the one responsible for killing Jiro, offering to form a contract with her to eliminate the other two siblings. Mineko eagerly agreed and signed a murder contract to eliminate her remaining nephews.
With the contract signed, Kaminariman went to kill the two siblings while they were sleeping. He managed to severely injure Jiro with his lightning strike, but was caught and driven away by K before he could be finished off. During their fight however, Kaminariman managed to critically damage K with one of his lightning strikes.
K was later repaired by Mother, but chose to keep his repairs a secret in order to have the element of surprise on his side. When Kaminariman returned to kill the two children, he was ambushed by a rebuilt K and believed that Mineko had sold him out, assaulting her before fleeing pursued by K. Kaminariman attempted to destroy K with his electrical attacks, but the countercurrent K had installed him redirected the attacks and destroyed Kaminariman.
