Sim Jihyoung is the titular main protagonist of the dark fantasy action manhwa series Bones. He is a Korean boy who lost his father at a young age in a gruelsome car accident because of him. Years later, he discoverered that he "awakened", developping regenerative abilities, which led him to become a hunter to support his only loved one left, his mother. However, at some point further in life, his mother was killed by a cruel classmate of his. This led to Sim to seek for a blood-thirsty revenge against the killer of his mother.
Appearance[]
Sim is a young Korean man with short black hair. Following his break out out of the diamond prison that trapped him for long time, he developped an extremely sturdy exoskeleton that allowed him to even breach out of the prison, regardless of being made of diamond.
Personality[]
Since ever he was a young child, after he develop his newfound powers, he beared deep ambition to become a hunter to become a hunter and pay his family's debt. However, when his life turned upside down by the loss of his mother, he went berserk and unfazedly rushed to the killer of his mother, one of his classmates. He ignored the pain inflicted throughout his body and his anger and rage only deepens as he gets imprisoned by his classmate's ability to create diamond. His rage allowed him to punch against the diamond prison for a significant amount of time even if the pain he was enduring was unbearable. He eventually got out and avenged his mother once it for all. A female hunter then tells him that his mother is still alive thanks to him and that she can recover fully if he hunts down all hunters of Japan, to which Sim agrees. Sim goes into a rampage of massacring hunters from Japan, cold-bloodly murdering anyone he comes across, even the life of a woman who was being assaulted by his comrades.
