The Bird Ninjas Karasutengu are the avian soldiers of the Sorcerers Clan and supporting antagonists in Sekai Ninja Sen Jiraiya. They typically appear in groups of three.
History[]
The Karasutengu were summoned by Org Ninja Dokusai when he assembled the Sorcerers Clan to prepare for their attack on the Yamaji dojo. The Karasutengu accompanied Dokusai when he broke in and dueled Tetsuzan for possession of the other half of the clay board leading to the Pako. After the fight ended in a draw, the Karasutengu abducted the daughter of the Yamaji family, Kei, and fled the scene. They later issued a ransom note to Tetsuzan demanding the clay board half in exchange for Kei's safety. As Tetsuzan was too injured to go to the meeting spot, his adopted son Toha went in his place.
Meeting him was Retsukiba, accompanied by three Karasutengu. Rather than hand over the clay board half however, Toha instead became Jiraiya and rescued Kei.
Later, when Jiraiya and Baron Owl were fighting, the Karasutengu observed the fight, planning on swooping in and taking out the victor once the fight was over. However, the two took notice of the Karasutengu and chased them off.
