Karenbana (in Japanese: カレンバナ Karenbana) is the supporting antagonist in the Naruto film Naruto the Movie: Guardians of the Crescent Moon Kingdom. She is a ninja worked for Shabadaba.
She was voiced by Haruhi Terada in the Japanese version, and by Cindy Robinson in the English dubbed version.
Personality[]
Like Ishidate and Kongō, Karenbana was sadistic and enjoyed fighting her enemies. Like the two of them, she was arrogant by how she underestimated Sakura Haruno in her battle against her. When she felt insulted, Karenbana would yell, like how she angrily told Sakura that she was 22 years old.
Biography[]
Karenbana along with Kongō and Ishidate were hired by Shabadaba to initiate a coup in the Land of the Crescent Moon. As a result, Shabadaba managed to take the throne from the previous ruler Kakeru Tsuki.
When Kakeru's son and grandson, Michiro and Hikaru, returned to the Crescent Moon Kingdom, Karenbana and her teammates encountered them at the beach. She fought against the Leaf Ninjas that were acting as Michiro's bodyguard. She attempted to attack Naruto when the latter began to overpower Kongō with his nine-tails chakra mode until he knocked her back. Shabadaba's men managed to capture Michiro and the Wandering Ninja left.
The next night, the Leaf Ninja infiltrate the castle that Michiro was held at in an attempt to save him. Karenbana encountered Sakura and fought her. As she fought Sakura, Karenbana managed to overpower her. During the battle, Karenbana got angry at Sakura when she mistakes her age and told her she was 22 years old. Afterwards, Sakura punched Karenbana in her face with chakra-enhanced strength, killing her.
