Biography[]

Alongside two of his subordinates, Onigahara, and Takamido, Kashima faces Shishiba and Osaragi in their underground facility near a tunnel. The man in his deer mask confronts Shishiba who jokingly says that they are just having a little fun here before revealing that he is actually here to kill Slur, their leader. Kashima replies he is busy at the moment and that this lab he has taken over is only an independent project of his. Shishiba declares that they all have to die due to having violated the JAA's policy as he walks toward the enemies. Kashima's subordinates' approach Shishiba and ask Kashima if they can kill him with their boss giving them permission. Osaragi asks Shishiba if he is done with them before swiftly beheading them only to realize that Shishiba did not allow her to do it.

While Osaragi apologizes, Kashima cries as he holds one of his subordinate's heads, questioning if they do not have any regard for human life, before taking off his mask and detaching one of the stitches on his arm, revealing countless sharp blades under his arm as he declares that they have no right to be called assassin. As Shishiba and Osaragi comment on him, Kashima slashes past him, surprised by his speed. However, in his turn, Shishiba surprises him with his hammer on his forehead before breaking his spine. Believing that their job is done, Kashima replaces his neck back and states that he has an artificial spine. Out of a sudden, Sakamoto appears behind to pin Kashima to the floor. Shishiba and Sakamoto greet each other with Shishiba introducing him to Osaragi.

Kashima recognizes Sakamoto as the legendary assassin and the only one to ever be capable of injuring their boss, "X". He declares that he will kill Sakamoto for the boss to praise him as he detaches one of the stitches on his mouth, revealing the head of a gun out of his mouth. The two assassins engage in a battle with Shishiba and Osaragi leaving the place, telling Sakamoto that they are leaving Kashima to him. He comments on how pathetic Sakamoto always dodges his attack instead of getting killed. Sakamoto then surprises the man by grabbing and twisting the gun's head, causing him to fire a projectile within himself, gravely injuring him.

Sakamoto seemed to gain the upper hand when he pulled out a few small objects from his pocket that he used to fire to Kashima's eye then a bottle cap for his other eye, blinding him completely. Sakamoto takes the momentary timelapse to send him across the place.

Their battles continue in the train tunnel nearby as Kashima restrains Sakamoto with ropes. Sakamoto cuts the rope with the paper he possesses before pulling Kashima through the wall with the rope. On the other side of the wall, they both crash into a train that just happened to be driving by. Kashima stops his landing by using his swords while he thinks of how talented of an assassin Sakamoto truly is. As he questions where Sakamoto is currently hiding, he does not realize that Sakamoto (now having lost weight, thus changing his appearance to skinnier) is right beside him. Sakamoto surprises him with a heavy kick in the face against the wall of the train.

The battle progresses with Kashima unleashing a powerful blast against Sakamoto, sending another train passing by. Believing that he finally defeated him once it for all, he throws the other passengers out of rage at him. The battle ends when Sakamoto uses a bit more of his strength to land a heavy punch out of the train and finally ends him with a kick that sends him crashing against the ticket barrier of the station. Sakamoto makes a call for his allies, telling them he defeated the leader as he pulled Kashima.
