Katsuie Shibata, also known as Devil Shibata, is the supporting antagonist and anti-hero in the Samurai Warriors series. He is one of the generals of Nobunaga Oda and the second husband of Oichi.
He was voiced by Eiji Takemoto, who also voiced Mitsunari Ishida in the same series, Rouki in Hyakuju Sentai Gaoranger, and Rock Howard in SNK universe.

Samurai Warriors 2[]
After subsequently to gets a unmatched brutish design, Katsuie was only side with Nobunaga as knows that he best to be fiercely spear warrior. Right that on, he becoming one of the guards of the Oda main camp and necessary to be defeated to unlocked the doors with their camps.
Despite his defeat, Katsuie doesn't lets everyone to getting pass in which he then audacious in an assault for the Kingo ward during the battle of Odani Castle. Upon protest with Azai and allied with Hideyoshi, he is one of the started the Oda generals at Tedorigawa.
He also fought Kenshin Uesugi but with his all-out attacked dragging his allies into his flood attacks and fell of fatality. To be with honor, Katsuie wants to reformed and defeating Kenshin in attempted of taking his head.
Samurai Warriors 3[]
When he keep as a devoted general within Nobunaga's ranks, Katsuie aided the Oda to repelled the Imagawa at Okehazama. After Yoshimoto is killed by Nobunaga, Katsuie later assist the Oda forces at Inabayama Castle and Odani Castle and once again targets at Tedorigawa. Following the falls at Shizugatake, he alongside his wife Oichi to against the Toyotomi in much to be serious. By the way, Katsuie is betrayed by Toshiie while he's not vile to the youth.
Samurai Warriors 4[]
Following the third game, Katsuie becoming a coarsened veteran and allowing Toshiie to formed with the Oda forces. During the battle of Okehazama, he watching over Toshiie's advanced as that Nobunaga much be progressive when he managed to defeat Yoshimoto with takes the power for himself had territories are captured. After the death of Yoshimoto and causing the Tokugawa to escaped, Katsuie will concern for Oichi's safety while she is arranged for marriage to Nagamasa.
Nagamasa would meet his end at Odani Castle, he feel unhandy to aided her overcome of her husband's death. Katsuie later work as the guardian of Oichi to protected her from several suffering. However, he believed that very respected to Nagamasa's true wish for her: to treasure her life and keep lives. At the battle of Nagashino, Katsuie then undertaking of a depressed Oichi and worried about her forced into the Oda war front. Where Oichi was still mourning her late husband, he understanding about that and keep a respectful distance from her many times.
Formally to married Oichi, Katsuie later join to attack the Toyotomi forces with his wife at Shizugatake due to Nobunaga's era is ended. After defeated by Hideyoshi, Katsuie and Oichi retreated which they choose to sacrificed themselves at the blazed Kitanosho Castle. Despite their deaths, the spouse are survived when they are manipulated by Gracia and joined her. He was the only male idol of the Gracia's group and join the dance party together with Naotora, Oichi, Nouhime, Koshosho, Kunoichi, and the girls at the night.
Samurai Warriors 5[]
After served as the guardian of Nobunaga's younger siblings Nobuyuki and Oichi, Katsuie following them during the Oda's battle against the Tokugawa and the Saitō before heading to Okehazama. Upon Nobuyuki's revolt at Ino, he agree to join Oichi and Nobuyuki's side. Despite learning Nobuyuki's dead and attempted let himself to suicide for join the rebellion, Katsuie decided to give up and he is be done to protective of Oichi when Nobunaga is going to fights the Imagawa at Okehazama. Throughout the story, Oichi marry Nagamasa as part of the Azai's alliance with the Oda, Katsuie accompanied Oichi to the lands of her new spouse and join with the Azai in the wars at Kanegasaki, Anegawa, and Odani Castle.
