Kauppias is a character of the Donald Duck comics.
History[]
Kauppias is a character in the Donald Duck comics, best known for trying to sell speeches of political figures to Donald Duck. No matter how many times Donald ignores him, Kauppias keeps at it until finally, Donald gives in and buys the entire series. Kauppias made his debut in the episode Vacation Time which was published in 1947.
About[]
Kauppias is well-known for his extreme political beliefs. In one episode, Kauppias kidnaps Donald Duck and takes him to his covert military base, where he discusses his beliefs and the elimination of the Certain people. He then goes on to describe how The Certain People run banks and mass media. He offers Donald Duck a drink after escorting him to his fortified headquarters and calmly discusses his viewpoint and his intention to meet the wealthy duck Uncle Scrooge in order to obtain funding for his top-secret scheme. However, this episode is made by Kari Korhonen. Who is a finnish Donald Duck Comic creator, who does not translate comics to foreign countries. Therefore, we are not sure if this is canon in other countries.

Kauppias, is portrayed in comics as a egoistic, gregarious, intelligent, and threatening guy despite leading an underground life. Kauppias's devoted employees are thought to be a result of his captivating and cunning actions.

The salesman, Kauppias, is a dogface character who appears to be tall and in good shape. He can run for a very long period without becoming tired, and he tosses Donald Duck with ease. Kauppias typically wears formal attire, has dark brown hair, round glasses, gray hat, and two large noticeable front teeth, long dog ears.
