~ Kaze's introduction |
Kaze is a major antagonist in Doodle World. He's an ex-Shadow Clan member that defected from Yami's that intends to bring the clan back to their old murderous ways. Wanting to usurp Yami's position, Kaze would raid Icyridge to try to steal the key from Anna by force so he can use his success of the capture as a way to try to sway DoodleCo to challenge Yami's position as DoodleCo Executive, thus making him the new leader of the Shadow Clan.
Biography[]
Kaze was once a member of the Shadow Clan. However, when Yami changed the Shadow Clan's ways from assassins to a group of thieves Kaze became furious. As a result, he defected alongside Shiro, Jiro, and Tsuyoi who also wanted to go back to their old ways. He devised a plan to usurp Yami's position by stealing the Frigid Key from Anna of Icyridge in order to challenge Yami's position as executive of DoodleCo. However, before that he had unfinished business to do. As the Shadow Clan became a subset of DoodleCo., Victor Solis' betrayal on them also costed to the Shadow Clan in which Kaze wanted payback. Kaze cornered Victor Solis while the latter was on the run in an alley and ambushed him, putting Victor Solis in a likely grim fate.
After dealing with Victor Solis, Kaze and his clan moved forward to invade Icyridge. As Kaze weaseled himself in, his three underlings defended the outpost from the protagonist as Kaze ventured further in. TJ devised a plan to stop Kaze's clan from reaching Anna by using a secret room in the Alchemist's Grotto to prevent them from reaching them. However, Kaze was able to ambush the team during their turmoil. After cornering them, Kaze threatened to kill everyone in the room if Anna didn't hand over the key. However, Anna already made a stalling tactic by leaving the key in the castle. With this, Kaze held her at hostage as he followed her to the castle. With the world potentially at stake, Desmond sacrificed his life to bring the others to safety so they can stop Kaze.
Kaze performed the trials necessary to receive the key, however when the protagonist arrived Anna improvised and decided his last trial should be defeating them. With his patience running out, Kaze forced her to hand the key to him if he won or else he would make her receive the same fate as Victor Solis. However, the protagonist managed to beat him leaving him to wonder what they really are. Before he could do anything else, Captain Silvier arrived to deliver the news that his fellow Shadow Clan members have been sent to the 9th level of the dungeon and that Kaze would meet the same fate. However, before the incarceration could be processed, Yami intervened to make a deal that he would hold Kaze in custody so that he could punish him himself. Not wanting this, Kaze tried to plead to be sent to the dungeon instead, but Captain Silvier decided that this would be a better option and accepted the deal. With that, Kaze was hauled off by his former leader likely being sent to a similar fate he gave to Victor Solis.
Personality[]
However, when Yami appeared to collect the convict, Kaze immediately dropped his serious nature and became a nervous wreck as he attempted to plead to stay in the dungeon.
Trivia[]
- Kaze is the only Shadow Clan member who isn't fully masked in his standard outfit. Inari was only unmasked during her disguise but is masked in her normal outfit.
