Kento Fukamiya is one of the main protagonists of Kamen Rider Saber, but he later served as a major antagonist in the second arc. He was once Kamen Rider Espada, the son of the first Kamen Rider Calibur and a childhood friend of Touma Kamiyama. After being felled by the second Kamen Rider Calibur however, Kento witnessed the world being destroyed in the future as a result of the combined powers of the Swordrivers and became the third Kamen Rider Calibur in order to seal all of them to prevent the world being destroyed.
He is portrayed by Ryo Aoki.
Biography[]
Past[]
Kento was born as the son of Hayato Fukamiya, the first Kamen Rider Calibur of the Sword of Logos. Growing up, Kento was friends with Touma Kamiyama and a girl named Luna. One day however, Kento's father Hayato was driven mad by the revelation that an unseen force was controlling the world and as Calibur kidnapped Luna to force her to connect the Wonder World with his own. Hayato's plan was foiled and, unbeknownst to Kento and the Sword of Logos, Daichi Kamijou took up the mantle of Calibur in his stead, siding with the Megiddo and committing crimes while leading them all to believe Kento's father was responsible.
Having lost Luna to mysterious circumstances, Kento and Touma both made a vow that they would find her.
In Sword of Logos[]
While Touma ended up losing his memory of the incident, Kento joined the Sword of Logos and became Kamen Rider Espada. Touma would later join the Sword of Logos as well after his memories were reawakened and become the second Kamen Rider Saber, the first Saber (Daichi Kamijou) having seemingly perished in the incident that occurred 15 years ago.
Eventually, the truth of Calibur's identity would be uncovered when Calibur was defeated by the combined powers of the three swordsmen and revealed to be Daichi Kamijou. Furious that he had been led to believe his father was a traitor when Daichi was the one responsible, Kento left to go confront Calibur himself. In their clash however, the second Calibur easily overpowered Kento with the might of Jaou Dragon and fatally wounded him. Kento was then found by Touma and exchanged final words with him before seemingly passing on, his body being consumed by the darkness of the Caliburdriver.

After Calibur was defeated by Touma and killed by Desast, the Jaken Caliburdriver somehow found its way to Kento along with Calibur's Wonder Ride books. While in the darkness, Kento experienced visions from the future of the world being destroyed once the Megid obtained all the Swordrivers and united them and, seeing no future where this was averted, came to believe the only way to save the world was to destroy all the Swordrivers before their power could be misused. Becoming the third Kamen Rider Calibur, Kento escaped the darkness and set out to face each of the Riders of the Sword of Logos.
He appeared after Touma was overtaken by the power of Primitive Dragon, defeating him and knocking him out of his transformation before leaving.
He later appeared again when Touma became Primitive Dragon during Kamen Rider Sabela's fight with Buster and Slash, again reverting Touma's transformation into Saber. This time though, the recoil led to him canceling his transformation and revealing his true identity to the Kamen Riders.
After leaving the Riders with some ominous words, Kento departed. He later appeared again during another clash between Sabela and Touma's to destroy their blades. Touma tried to reason with Kento, to which Kento explained his motives but refused to cooperate with them in finding another path. He then became Calibur Jaou Dragon and battled Buster and Slash, destroying Slash's blade before leaving once more.
Kento later spied on Touma and Rintaro reuniting with Mei after she was freed from the Neko Megid.
Kento would later be present when Master Logos gathered all the Seiken and Wonder Ride Books to recreate the Great Book. He became Kamen Rider Calibur and attempted to stop the Master, only to be attacked by a crazed Ren Akamichi. After Bacht ambushed them, Kento stood in the way of an attack from Falchion to stop it from hitting Ren, resulting in him being knocked out of his transformation and his Seiken being added to the others. After Touma interrupted the ritual and caused the Seiken to fall back down, both the blades of Espada and Calibur fell beside Kento, who chose to pick up the latter instead of the former and leave.
After being reunited with his father, Kento would finally be convinced to discard the Kurayami blade and become Espada once more, rejoining the other Northern Base Riders to oppose Master Logos with them together. Kurayami meanwhile would once again be wielded by Hayato, and he and Kento would later join the other swordsmen in combining the power of their blades to draw forth Xross Saber.
