Machine Beast Tamer Keris is the humanoid master of several feral Machine Beasts serving the Machine Empire Baranoia and a minor antagonist in Chouriki Sentai Ohranger. She serves as the main antagonist of the 26th and 28th episodes and the secondary antagonist of the 27th.
She is played by Akiko Amamatsuri who previously played Doctor Mazenda in Choujuu Sentai Liveman, Lieutenant Colonel Gara in Gosei Sentai Dairanger and Algolian Giin in Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger.

Past[]
As with all members of the Machine Empire Baranoia, Machine Beast Tamer Keris was built to be completely humanoid by Emperor Bacchus Wrath and Empress Hysteria some 65 million years ago on Planet Baranoia. Along with the rest of the Baranoians, Keris helped them to devastate and conquer multiple planets. During this time, Keris began capturing the more animalistic Machine Beasts and putting them inside cages in the Baranoia Royal Zoological and Botanical Society.
Ohranger[]
Millions of years later, in 1999, Emperor Bacchus Wrath and his Empire return to Earth and launch an invasion of Earth where they rally thier forces but the Ohrangers arise to oppose them. In spite of this, Keris remains out of the war and looks after the Machine Beasts in her zoo.
After the death of Bara Hungry though, a mysterious pyramid appears from a dimensional rift and lands in the centre of Tokyo which Emperor Bacchus Wrath recognises as King Pyramidder; the signature weapon of his ancient archenemy Riki who had been sent into hibernation until the Machine Beasts' return. Enraged and intent on killing him, after a failed attack by the Barlo Soldiers, the Emperor assigns Keris to kill them so she brings Bara Goblin to aid her after first being seen comforting the Machine Beast. Whilst Bacchus Wrath and some Barlo Soldiers fight Riki, Goro and Shouhei, Keris confronts Yuji, Juri and Momo as they try to protect Dorin from the Barlo Soldiers. After the initial attack fails, Keris summons Bara Goblin who decimates the three Ohrangers. Chasing them to the quarry, Bara Goblin continues decimating them whilst Keris and the Barlo Soldiers watch only for the other two Ohrangers to join.
Watching the resulting battle, Keris is delighted when Bara Goblin nearly kills Dorin only for Riki to rescue her; her becoming frustrated when Riki becomes KingRanger and defeats Bara Goblin and then intervenes directly after King Pyramidder kills him for good. Despite the set-back, she transforms into her true monster form and Hysteria enlarges her with a button on a console and she blasts the Ohrangers before capturing Riki and Dorin's pet Paku before retreating. Believing Riki dead when she turns over his body in the Botanical Society, Bacchus Wrath has her bring out Bara King so they can implant Riki's power and skills into the creature to use it to kill the Ohrangers.

Machine Beast Tamer Keris may appear harmless and amicable but is really a violent sadist who enjoys killing innocent people; up to and including children. Sadistic enough to laugh as Bara Goblin repeatedly blasted Momo, Yuji, Juri and Dorin, she revels in her enemies suffering. Although deeply loyal to Bacchus Wrath, she is also very warm and affectionate towards her Machine Beasts and was angered when Bara Goblin and Bara King were killed.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Non-Ageing: Due to being a cyborg, Machine Beast Tamer Keris was unable to age.
- Manipulation: Keris is a very skilled manipulator, being able to capture Riki and nearly trick the Ohrangers into believing his mind was trapped inside Bara King.
- Monster Form Transformation: Keris can change into a bird-like monster form that is much more powerful than her human form by flashing blue and then having a blue image of her monster form appear over her.
- Energy Beams: Keris can fire beams of blue energy from her breasts capable of causing large explosions and knocking down all six Ohrangers.
- Cloth Launch: Keris can fire sheets of white cloth from her belly button to tie up and capture enemies.
- Cloth Bomb: Keris can also launch cloth that, when pulled down, explodes with enough force to knock down five Ohrangers at once even as they ran from it.
- Human Form: Keris can turn back to her human form at will.

- Whip: Being an animal tamer, Machine Beast Tamer Keris' main weapon is a whip to either slash enemies or order an attack.
- Barlo Soldier Summoning: Keris can summon Barlo Soldiers to aid her in battle by cracking her whip on the ground.
- Energy Whip: Keris can channel her power into her whip to turn it into blue energy and crack it into the enemy with enough energy to knock down Yuji, Juri and Momo with one hit.
- Machine Beast Summoning: Keris can call out a Machine Beast's name and crack her whip on the ground to summon them as seen with Bara Goblin.
- Electrocution: In her monster form, Keris can smack the handle of her whip onto her cloth to electrocute it and anyone wrapped in it.

Trivia[]
- Due to mostly appearing as a Japanese woman, and her monster form's highly sexualised appearance, Machine Beast Tamer Keris was not adapted into Power Rangers Zeo.
- Although Bara Goblin and Bara King were adapted, they both served the two equivalents of Buldont and the first destroyed by the Zeo Ultrazord/King Pyramidder Battle Formation became Tarantabot (Bara Tarantula's counterpart).
