Dr. Kervina Sofita Hermos is one of the major antagonists of the series, Our Last Crusade, or The Rise of a New World. She is the former scientist of the Heavenly Empire. She was an ally of the Eight Great Apostles, Elletear Lou Nebulis IX and the Hydra Family.
Personality[]
Kervina is a power hungry, sadistic, psychopathic and remorseless scientist who experimented people into powerful Astral Mages, but more monstrous than the regular Astral Mages. Due to her illegally research, she became a misanthrope when she lacks human's empathy and morality when she has no qualm of experimenting even children such as the youngest princess and one of the series' tritagonists, Sisbell Lou Nebulis IX (which failed due to Iska and his allies' interventions) and it was her own actions leading herself to her demise.
Kervina is obsessed with the Lou Family's youngest princess of Nebulis Sovereignty, Sisbell Lou Nebulis IX due to her being a weak-born Astral Mage and Elletear's kin. She attempted to make Sisbell as her new test subject just so she would obey every of Kervina's commands (unlike Elletear) but only to fail when Iska, 907th unit and Rin Vispose (servant of Sisbell's older sister, Aliceliese/Alice) rescued her preventing these experiments on Sisbell.
History[]
Kervina was a promising scientist who once worked under the 10th seat of the Heavenly Empire's Saint Disciple, Sir Karosos Newton. She discovered and research the Astral Energy when she created her laboratory known as the Elsa's Coffin. She developed experiments of turning people into monstrous Astral Mages (which the Empire falsely describe them as "witches" and "sorcerers") as well given up her humanity for this twisted experiments. Because of her actions, she was arrested and imprisoned for her crimes against the Heavenly Empire.
However, the Eight Great Apostles holds interests on her research and secretly freed her to continue her research for their own selfish goals.
She met the Hydra Family to became allies with them to commit experiments to turn the weaker Astral Mages (who were captured and kidnapped by the Hydras) into powerful-but-monstrous Mages.
She experimented the former first princess, Elletear Lou Nebulis IX (the main villainous character) and labelled her Subject E. However, Elletear was considered as a terrible specimen due to her lack of obedience to Kervina.
Synopsis[]
After the Hydra Family kidnapped Sisbell Lou Nebulis IX, they brought the youngest princess to Kervina for experiments in attempt to make her one of her new test subjects. However, Iska, his team and Rin Vispose appeared at Kervina's lab of foiling her attempt and successfully rescue Sisbell. Kervina fell into a pool of Astral Energy to become a monstrous Astral Mage. She attempted to kill Iska and his friends as well try to capture Sisbell until Iska cut off Kervina's wings where she fell into the pool of Astral Energy, which caused it to overload and explodes for the demise of Kervina and the destruction of the Elsa's Coffin.

Eight Great Apostles[]
After she was sentenced to prison for experimenting people into monstrous Astral Mages, The Eight Great Apostles secretly Kervina into doing their own selfish bidding. However, they both eventually died.
Hydra Family[]
Kervina is secretly allies with the Hydra Family. The Hydra helped Kervina of experimenting weaker Astral Mages into monstrous Mages in the Hydra Family's plans to overthrow Queen Mirabea Lou Nebulis VIII and her family.

Elletear Lou Nebulis IX[]
Elletear is one Kervina's test subjects, labelling her as Subject E. However, she is disappointed that Elletear won't take orders from Kervina (due to her obsession of becoming a queen) as the rogue Imperial scientist considered Elletear as the worst specimen.
Sisbell Lou Nebulis IX[]
After brought her to the Heavenly Empire, Kervina welcomed Sisbell and touched the youngest princess, realizing that Sisbell is also a weak-born Astral Mage similar to her older sister Elletear. She desired Sisbell to become a new test subject due to her blood-related to Elletear. She told the Heavenly Empire is the "birthplace of the witches" and Elletear is one of them. Sisbell called the scientist as a liar. She takes Sisbell (who considered the rogue scientist to be delusional when she refused to believe Kervina that she experimented her sister Elletear) to the experimentation water tank (originally belong to Elletear) to use the youngest princess as a guinea pig as well hoping that Sisbell will obey Kervina's orders, until Sisbell was rescued and freed by Iska and his team (along with Rin Vispose), causing the death of Kervina.
