Kian formerly called Kushim is a major antagonist in the role-playing game Ordem Paranormal.
He is considered by his followers to be the "God of Knowledge" and there are records of his cult, the Escriptas, existing over 4000 years ago in Ancient Sumer. He was able to survive to the present day by using a specific ritual sequence known as the "Passage", thus transferring his mind and knowledge through various receptacles handpicked by Tirigan. Kian was the first human to achieve complete paranormal exposure, communicating with the Other Side directly by inventing the first existing occult ritual, the Transcendence.
Appearance[]
Kushim was a light-skinned boy with faded blond hair that was tossed to the side. As can be seen in Virgil Scelto's case, the older Disgraced Semblance has hair that is longer than his youthful form, as well as a long blond beard, the same color as his hair. His face also has dark circles under his eyes and heavy wrinkles.
After Luciano Carvalho's transcendence in the fight against Gal, when his Paranormal Exposure level passes 50%, Kian reveals himself and becomes Marked. He then takes over Luciano's body, changing his appearance. He possessed the same physical build as Luciano, continuing with his shaved hair and thinning beard, as well as his yellow eyes.
Personality[]
Kian is described as a very intelligent, arrogant and silent figure, having an extremely manipulative personality, always saying the right things at the right time. When he was still a Chained, despite his almost infinite knowledge, Kian could not conjure any kind of ritual, making him only an influential figure, but not a powerful one. After returning as a Marked he is much more animated, speaking loudly, always having a tone of superiority in his voice, sometimes mocking the attitudes he considers futile, walking and gesticulating in a confident manner.

Trivia[]
- Kian was already being thought of since Ordem Paranormal Season 1. The initial idea was that the director Alvaro Augusto was an immortal vampire, something that was later discarded. The new idea was that he had been alive since the Sumerian civilization, having stayed alive by successive body changes. However, Cellbit preferred to create another character to fulfill this role, the current Kian.
- Kushim, as the portrait of his true face is named, is the oldest name on record, found on a tablet estimated to be from the Uruk period (4000-3100 BCE) in ancient Sumer.
- It was informed by Cellbit in one of his lives, that should Luciano Carvalho die during the campaign while carrying Kian's dormant memories, *the story would have few changes as the master already had in mind another plot involving Kian's revelation in Luciano, should this occur.
- As far as is known, the Mark of Kian is represented by the Symbol of the Other Side.
- Kian is the Marked who has murdered the most Marked in the RPG, he has killed Fernando Carvalho, Kaiser, Boris Lukic, Joui Jouki and Theodore Bagwell.
- Regarding Ordem Paranormal: Enigma of Fear, it has been confirmed by Cellbit that Kian, along with Tenebris, will not be present in the game.
- One of the inspirations for the symbol marked on Kian's face was the character Jellal Fernandes from Fairy Tail.
- Kian is one of the five characters present on the back cover of the Ordem Paranormal rulebook.
- Kian has three theme songs: "Kian", "The Mark of Kian", and "The Calamity Maker", with two of them being battle themes.
