Kickback is a minor villain in Transformers: Energon. He is a member of the Destruction Team, who combine to form Bruticus Maximus.
Biography[]
Kickback first appeared in the late episode "Wishes". With Superion Maximus having refused to join the other gestalts in serving Galvatron and detached into the Air Team to flee, Bruticus Maximus and Constructicon Maximus followed suit, separating into the Destruction and Construction Teams to pursue him. Kickback and the others chased the Air Team until all three teams recombined.
Kickback would make a few more appearances when Bruticus Maximus detached into his component parts, for pursuit reasons or for training sessions, as well as continuing to form Bruticus Maximus' arm. In the series' penultimate episode, "Sparks", Superion Maximus finally defeated Bruticus Maximus and destroyed his torso, with Kickback being destroyed in the ensuing explosion.

- Kickback had no dialogue in the cartoon, nor was his name ever mentioned. His name comes from the toyline.
- A different Unicron Trilogy version of Kickback appeared in the 2004 PlayStation 2 game as one of the Mini-Cons.
