~ Keneo, to Isamu while talking about the Seishin Orb. |
The Kiiroibara Cult are the main antagonists of the second chapter of the 2021 Roblox horror-game The Mimic "Jealousy's Book".
They are a cult that worship Enzukai, the Beast of Jealousy, as part of a forgotten legacy.
Biography[]
The Kiiroibara Cult, as described by Keneo, is said to be "ruthless" and "always watching". Not much is known about how or when it was formed, although it is only mentioned that they support Enzukai, and that they also have a founder.
In the premiere video for Jealousy: Chapter III, Kyogi stumbled upon Senzai Uchiumi after encountering an Umibōzu, and was about to attack him before Senzai, before stopping and showing sympathy for him when he explained his backstory. After being taken in by the Kiiroibara Cult, Senzai was chosen as a worshipper by the cult's Deity, Enzukai. Later on, Kyogi and Shosai would throw Senzai's decoy (which was mimicked with black goo) into the sea. After spending some time in the cult, Senzai became the Worshipper, dedicated to serving the Kiiroibara Cult.
In Jealousy: Chapter I, aside from a mention by Keneo that the cult is ruthless and always watching, Kyogi also makes a mention to bringing Isamu Uchiumi to "that place", which is most likely Enzukai's seal.
In Jealousy: Chapter II, the Kiiroibara Cult is mentioned a lot throughout the chapter, from its various symbols to some of the monsters themselves, and then Senzai taking Isamu to Enzukai's lair at the end, having him killed by Enzukai and winding up in Jigoku.
In Jealousy: Chapter III proper, the members of the Kiiroibara Cult are shown on drawings made by Senzai himself, in his room during the Uchiumi Residence segment. At the end of the chapter in the credits cutscene, they all show up alongside a (newly transformed) Enzukai, set to return in Jealousy's Book: Chapter IV.

Trivia[]
- It is widely theorized that the monsters in the Broken Ship (Hyakume, Kishin, and Kyogi) are part of the Kiiroibara Cult, as evidence to Keneo describing how the members of the cult are always watching, hence the eyes that look at Isamu while he is lighting up candles, or how the monsters all have multiple eyes.
- This would later be proven partially true in Jealousy's Book: Chapter III, as Kyogi is shown in the chapter's ending cutscene and Senzai Uchiumi's artwork in his room alongside the other official Kiiroibara Cult members. However, Hyakume and Kishin are considered to be potential members of the cult, and it isn't known if they are monsters outside of the cult or are actually a part of the cult itself.
- There is also another theory, albeit weak and not even explained how, that Rin and Mio Tsushima are also part of the cult, as there was a thumbnail of them bowing down to the statue of Enzukai. This is further supported by the fact that the sisters keep said statue in what seems to be a shrine room in their Minka.
- Later on, this would be proven true in Jealousy's Book: Chapter III, where she appears in the chapter's ending cutscene and Senzai Uchiumi's artwork in his room alongside the other official Kiiroibara Cult members.
- It is likely that the members would visit Enzukai's Seal to admire it or to even have sacrifices and rituals.
- Despite what some may believe, Enzukai isn't the leader of the Kiiroibara Cult. Instead, it is contributing as the "deity"/"master" that the cult worships. Someone else instead created the cult in favor of worshipping the Beast. However, it is unknown who the leader is.
- According to a lore writer, any of the monsters that are featured in Senzai's drawings and/or the end credits of Jealousy: Chapter III are confirmed to be Kiiroibara Cult worshippers. Hyakume, Kishin, Kuishinbo, Teiryu and Ryoshi are placed down as potential worshippers, and the Kaonashi, Umibozus and Jikininkis are confirmed to not be a part of the Kiiroibara Cult.
- Chihiro Anamo and Kutsu are the only members of the Kiiroibara Cult to not qualify as villains as the former only wanted to play a game with Isamu and the latter is a minor character that didn't do anything villainous yet in his screen time.
