Kikyō Kushida is a major antagonist in the anime, manga and light novel series Classroom of the Elite. She is a first-year student of Class 1-D at the start with the objectives to befriend with everyone.
She is voiced by Yurika Kubo in Japanese and by Sarah Wiedenheft in English.
Appearance[]
At the start of the year, she instantly attracted many male students with her friendly expressions and nature. She has shoulder-length beige hair with a headband on her head and a crimson, red-colored large eyes. At school she wears the red female uniform adorned with gold linings and dark red ribbon above her chest area along with a short white skirt. Outside of school she is seen wearing a turquoise-colored jacket with a blue and white colored dress on the inside.
Personality[]
Kushida is known to be the type of person who puts others in needs before herself to be popular and has been to have been to go showing that she was social, outgoing, friendly, kind, sweet and bubbly but however on the other side she shows a darker side of herself showing that she is a spoiled, arrogant and also self-centered person.
Upon being heard by Kushida, because of her smart phone that was at his hand ringing, she stayed in her true self rather decided to maintain her true self while threatening and blackmailing Kiyotaka with no hesitation that she will report him to the school if she tells anyone about, he saw, by pressing his hand on her chest to leave fingerprint as a false proof that she was raped him. Upon Kiyotaka agreeing, Kushida immediately switched back to her bright nature. Despite after what happened, she still acted like a real friend to both Kiyotaka and Horikita, showing that she hasn't given up easily on her goals. She also stated that she dislikes Horikita simply for not having an internal side unlike herself.
Biography[]
On the school bus, she makes her first appearance when she asks Rokusuke Kōenji to let his seat for an eldery woman to which he refuses. Later on, at school, she presents herself to the class, mentioning that she aims to befriend with not only students of this class but also of others. After school, while walking they meet Honami Ichinose, a student of Class 1-B who Kushida had already befriended with. She then mentions that her goals aren’t only to form friendship between classmates of Class 1-D but also among other first years. The next day at lunch, Kushida decides to team up with Kiyotaka in order to acquire the answers from old test answers from a second-year students. By pleasing with her innocent aura, leading the upperclassman to be charmed by her and eventually giving her the answers. He stated that it was allowed to use previous first year’s test answers for their own test which impressed her with the display of his intelligence.
At night a party was hosted in Kiyotaka’s room along with other students, Ken Sudō and Horikita. She asks him if he knows anything that could aid prevention of Sudō’s expulsion. This causes the rest of the group to react and stare at Kiyotaka questionably. As Kushida left Kiyotaka’s room, Kiyotaka notices that she forgot her phone in the room to which he tries to give back to her but is however seen to be already entering the elevator. Kushida than goes outside of the building and wanders at night in the street, making Kiyotaka wondering what she could be up to at that time. She is then seen furiously kicking the fence out of rage shouting her hatreds against Suzune Horikita for being better and better-looking than her according to Kushida herself upon wishing for her death, revealing her true side. As Kiyotaka observes from behind the tree, Kushida’s phone that was with Kiyotaka starts ringing, causing him left with no choices but to reveal himself. Kushida than quickly walks to him, interrogating him if he heard and saw her act. She then blackmails Kiyotaka to not tell anyone what he saw by grabbing his hand, forcing him to grab her chest, in order to have his fingerprints to be on the chest area of her school uniform and states that if he does, she will falsely report him for sexual harassment and having him falsely expelled from the school. At some point the next day, Kushida encounters Suzune than Kiyotaka at the elevator where hey starts a conversation like nothing ever happened last night. She is later asked by Ichinose whether Kiyotaka is her boyfriend to which she declines. She asks the two whether they received their points making Kiyotaka and Kushida confused. Soon after they learn that because of a certain reason their point would not be received for a certain time.
