Kim Brooks is a fictional character and one-time antagonist of the British soap opera EastEnders, appearing only one as the main antagonist in 14th October 1999 that features the Mitchell Brothers famous car crash in the River Thames.
He was portrayed by Derek Lea.
History[]
Kim Brooks is a known to be a notorious criminal who specializes in extortion and murder.
In 1999, he and his gang cross paths with the Mitchell Brothers consisting of hardman siblings Phil Mitchell and Grant Mitchell over their efforts to steal money from various criminal empires. In this case, Phil and Grant learn that their estranged cousin Billy is having trouble with his debt to Brooks and his henchmen. So much so that Brooks even threatened to harm Billy and his family should he not meet the deadline.
Eventually, Phil and Grant decide to steal money from Kim's gang; their sister Sam finds out about it and, together with Billy, summon her policeman boyfriend Beppe Di Marco for help when it becomes clear that the Mitchell Brothers are apparently walking into Brooks' trap. However, Phil and Grant manage to steal the money from Brooks and defeat his henchmen in a fight before fleeing from the authorities. Brooks angrily slams his car in frustration after losing the money to the Mitchell Brothers.
