Kim Hyeon-Ju as a human.

Kim Hyeon-ju is a minor antagonist of the first season of the first season of the 2022 South Korean TV series All of Us Are Dead. She is a student and bully of Hyosan High School who is the first student to get infected by the Jonas Virus, and cause the outbreak.

She was portrayed by Jung Yi-seo.

Biography

Before the Outbreak

Not much is known about her past except she was one of the students participating in the bullying of Hyosan High School alongside Son Myeong-hwan, Gwi-Nam, and Park Chang-hoon. She is first seen at a rooftop watching Jin-su, get bullied by Gwi-nam and the other bullies, and it ends when their victim is accidentally pushed off the roof. One day, she was sleeping at a classroom and realizes that her friends left already and didn't wake her up even she told them to do so. As she leaves, she hears a noise at a storage room. She investigates and sees a metal box shaking, she removes and sees a mouse trapped in a glass box. She attempts to pet it but it bites her with aggression, unbeknownst to her, it is infected with the Jonas Virus. She leaves to get it checked but passes by Byeong-chan, who, realizing she was infected by the hamster, captures and ties her in the room she was just in. She injects her with a substance that slows the infection process, as she is tied and taped, bleeding from the nose as the result of the infection.

During the Outbreak

Unfortunately, she breaks free and enters Class 2-5 bleeding, Ms. Park sees this and Hyeon-ju brought to the clinic by Su-hyeok. She feels cold and then she gets aggressive and scratches On-jo and as she gets restrained, she also bites the nurse, Kim Kyung-mi, while giving her a sedative. She is then brought to the hospital.

At the CT scan, she then gets violent with the loud noise, then she becomes a zombie, infecting the doctors inside and then chases the other medical staff while crawling. This then results in the nurse infecting the others and the virus spreading in the town as well. Martial Law is then declared by the military as they continue to find a way to deal the situation. In Episode 11, it is likely she got killed along with the other zombies during the bombing of Hyosan High School and other places where many zombies were lured using drones by the military.
