Kim Lurker is a major antagonist in the action manhwa and anime series Tower of God. He is a manipulative loan shark who targeted Ja Wangnan by blackmailing him into selling him his organs in case if he fails to pass the exams of the 20th Floor of the Tower.
He is voiced by Naoki Irie in Japanese.
Appearance[]
Kim is a pale, lean, and towering man who typically wears a tailored beige suit paired with a pink shirt and a dark tie. His suit's unique design includes pronounced shoulders. His sharp, angular features are accentuated by his short, neatly combed black hair. He also adorns his head with two pink flowers on his left. However in the manhwa, he only seem to have one flower that is instead a white color.
Personality[]
As a loan shark, Kim is reflected in ruthless and violent approaches to achieving his goals, through intimidation and force, exemplified by his coercion of Ja Wangnan into signing an agreement to sell his organs if he fails an exam. He hires assistants force and deceives individuals like Nya Nia, even taking advantage over Yeon Yihwa to his own gain. In moments of defeat, Kim's perspective over others becomes apparent, viewing them as between either predators or prey. However, to his surprise, Wangnan's act of forgiveness leaves Kim visibly stunned, a complex reaction to his target's unexpected kindness.
Kim has also tends to bear a permanent callous expression, showing obsequious behavior towards his boss' son while being ready to betray him for personal gain.
