Kin'ni (キンニー Kin'ni) is a minor antagonist in the anime version of Ranma ½. He is a chinese guard from the Jusenkyo Preservation Society and wants to prevent people cursed from Jusenkyo to abuse their curses.
He was voiced by Takeshi Aono in Japanese and by Paul Dobson in English.
Biography[]
Kin'ni is an almosi invincible soldier who uses his style, the Cult of the Muscle Sword, using a dao-like sword to defeat his opponents. However he has a weakpoint, one day training in Jusenkyo he fell in the Priest Pond, after this Kin'ni would turn into a weak and kind buddist priest every time that he wild get wet with cold water.
One day, the Jusenkyo Perseveration Society got news about some people in Japan abusing of their curses. Being Ranma, Genma, Ryoga, Shampoo and Mousse. Kin'ni captured everyone except Ranma, causing the last one to go to save them. After using his curse in Furinkan High School, Kin'ni confronts Ranma there but is stopped when he turns into his monk form. Ranma asks where are the others captured and Kin'ni shows it since he is regretful about what he does in his normal form. Then the Vice Chairman restores Kin'ni into his normal form while they return to their basement.
In the cave, Genma is punished with a undergo "training". After Ranma free others, he is forced to do the training with his father. But both are saver by Shampoo (in her cat form) and manages to escape. Kin'ni confronts Ranma and uses his most powerful abilities against her. But Ranma manages to paralyze his arms and drag him into the river. The priest Kin'ni is horrified when he realizes everythin and drags his sword into the water, preventing his normal side to get it again.

Kin'ni is a powerful martial artist, capable to use his sword fight style to defeat almst every opponent. However, this is hindered by his curse, that prevent him from fighting while he gets wet with cold water.
