~ Barlowe's bodyguard to the Joker
Barlowe's bodyguard is a minor antagonist in The New Batman Adventures episode, Joker's Millions. He is the former bodyguard of King Barlowe who was angered that he gave the Joker his entire fortune.
Biography[]
An unknown man protected the infamous Gotham crime lord, King Barlowe for a whole decade, hoping that he would be richly rewarded once Barlowe finally passes on. He knew his boss well in life, especially his sheer hatred of his sworn rival, the Joker. However, when Barlowe did die of terminal illness, the bodyguard was shocked to discover that not only was he not getting a single cent of Barlowe's massive fortune, but that his actually left it all to none other than the Joker himself. When asked about by some reporters, the bodyguard responded by voicing his utter disbelief and frustration before attacking the camera.
Unwilling to accept this outcome, the bodyguard and those loyal to him planned to kill the Joker in revenge. At the Iceburg Lounge, they attacked the clown prince during a party for him, ordering everyone to get down on the ground while keeping the Joker from moving. After explaining his motivation to the Joker, he then prepared to kill him, but was stopped by Nightwing and Batgirl. They knocked down the bodyguard and took out his men, and when he tried to get up, the Joker stuck a pot on his head to finish him off. He and his men were presumably arrested afterwards.
