King George III (based on the historical figure of the same name) is the overarching antagonist of the musical Hamilton.
He was portrayed by Jonathan Groff.
After Hamilton argues with Samuel Seabury, King George sings about how he would win the war and keep an America as a colony in "You'll Be Back".
After America won the war, King George become sad and infuriated, singing about how they cheated with the French and Spain by their side, and asking what comes next. After George Washington step-down as president he questioning who come after him after one of his servants tells him it's John Adams he sings how their government is doomed, and wishing them luck. When Hamilton, Jefferson, and Madison gave a pamphlet out, King George jeers and mock the three of them.
Throughout the show, King George seems to get mad and more insane. King George III is later shown to have porphyria and dies on January 29th, 1820 of the ages 81.
