King Jack, or simply just Jack, is the main antagonist and final boss of the Halloween 2018 event from the Roblox game Tower Battles. It is implied to be the same Jack the players have encountered in the last halloween.

Appearance

King Jack is an enemy akin to Jack, but has many contrasts. King Jack's clothing is red and there are rusted chains on its body and legs. The noticeable appearance of King Jack is Sinister P pumpkin, which glows yellow instead of red inside. King Jack also has a black collar (retexture), a strap across his torso with a scythe, pumpkins, a large brown cape, and a bandolier on his back.

Biography

Following its defeat in 2017, Jack returns as King Jack. But this time it is stronger and has new abilities to defeat the players.

This time King Jack attacks the players in the Haunted Castle, it gives everything to take its revenge using its new abilities, but the result is the same as the previous Halloween, King Jack is defeated by the players for the second time. When defeated, it falls face down on the ground, its head rolling a few feet forward as before.

Powers & Abilities

• Shockwave Creation: King Jack can stun units by slamming his scythe into the ground, creating a shockwave that covers a wide area.
• Flaming Pumpkins: King Jack pulls out his pumpkin launcher and shoots flaming pumpkins at the towers, causing them to catch on fire.
• Cold Immunity: King Jack is not effected by cold in any way.
• Supernatural Strength and Durability: King Jack has twice as much health as its previous version at 250,000.

Trivia

• It's still a matter of debate whether Jack and King Jack are the same characters, the reason for this is that the evidence found contradicts each other; When Jack dies, a message saying "See you next year" appeares, and the following Halloween, King Jack was added to the game. However, the gravestone at Haunted Docks says "Jacks" on it, rather than designating Jacks as a single character.
• King Jack looked different in the teaser poster for Halloween 2018 event. It arms were longer and there were fewer chains on its legs and torso. It had no collar around its head, it wore a small cloak, no rusty armbands, and different pumpkins are tied around its chest.
• Although it has been implied that Jack might return again, the fact that the game's developers have stopped working on the game and TDX became a sequel to Tower Battles greatly reduces the possibility of Jack returning.
• King Jack is most likely based on Jack Skellington, the main protagonist of Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas. For example, both characters are portrayed as the King of Halloween, share the same name, and are addressed as King Jack. Additionally, the game's creator, Planet3arth, tweeted "Tower battles is nightmare before christmas themed rn" when the Halloween 2020 event came out, indicating that he was aware of the film's existence, and thus raising the possibility of King Jack being based on Jack Skellington.
• Before King Jack was added to the game, a zombie named Krampus was going to be used instead, but this idea was changed at the last minute and King Jack was added instead.
