King Oskar is one of the two main antagonists sof Fire Emblem Warriors alongside his son Prince Darios. He is the malvolent king of Grinstonne who wants to rule the world thanks to the powers of the Chaos Dragon.
In the English dub, he was voiced by DC Douglas, who also voiced Gharnef in the same game.
Synopsis[]
Oskar is the monarch of the Kingdom of Grinstonne and was at first allied with the nearby country, Aytolis. After the death of the king of Aytolis, Oskar helped Aytolis and even let his son and heir, Prince Darios, go to Aytolis in order to act as the martial instructor of the two children of the late king. However, Oskar grew ambitious and decided to revive the Chaos Dragon, betray Aytolis and rule the world thanks to the malvolent god's powers.
During the story, Oskar sends his forces and Velezark's demons to invade Aytolis, due to its royal family guarding the Fire Emblem, an item which is necessary for the dragon's resurection. He succefuly takes over the country and kidnaps its queen Yelena. However, the prince and princess of Aytolis (named Rowan and Lianna respectively) manage to escape with the Fire Emblem and Darios decides to join their side and turn on his father.
Due to Velezark's spirit summoning characters from other worlds, various heroes and villains from the Fire Emblem franchise end up trapped in the world of Fire Emblem Warrios, which leads Okar to hire some of the other Fire Emblem villains as commanders of his army. He recruits through unknown means Gharnef, Validar and Iago and orders them to defeat Rowan and Lianna and take the Emblem from their hands. Unfortunately for Oskar, both Validar and Iago are defeated.
Later on, Velezark captures Darios and takes over his body. After the Aytolis royals defeat Gharnef and retrieve the twin swords used by ancient heroes in order to stop the Chaos Dragon in the past, the posseded Darios tricks Rowan and Lianna into giving him the Fire Emblem and retreats to Aytolis palace, where Oskar his ready to start the rite to revive Velezark.
In order to bring back to life the dragon, the villains need to sacrifice a person who has royal blood inside them. As a result, Oskar and his son plan to use Yelena as a sacrifice, but Rowan, Lianna and their allies save her and defeat Darios. Oskar, furious, order his son to find a way to salvage the situation. Darios decides to use his father as a sacrifice instead of the queen and kills him. Oskar, shocked at his son betrayal, dies and his corpse his absorbed by a magical circle which empowers Darios and later fully revives his possessor. Darios his quickly killed by Velezark afterward, taking an attack of the evil god meant for the Aytolis twins. The latter two slain Velezark soon enough and avenge Darios and Oskar's deaths in the process.

Trivia[]
- Oskar is the only major villain in Warriors who never fights the heroes himself and one of the few lead villains in Fire Emblem who is never fought directly.
- Despite being the primary antagonist for most of the game, Oskar only appears in two chapter during the main story and is absent from the History Mode.
