I don't ask much. I'm a simple man. I ask only to enjoy my pleasures, if it's wet, I drink it, if it's dry, I snort it, and if it's young....
~ King Pleasure

King Pleasure is a minor antagonist of the Ultraverse comic universe, serving as the main antagonist of Solitaire #1. He is a hedonistic and sadistic human trafficker in LA who specialises in the young and “least missed”.

Biography[]

There's not much known about Pleasure’s background, although it is known that he had gotten his wealth from his father and puffed it up with crooked corporate takeovers in the 80’s. Pleasure uses his wealth to pay lawyers, detectives and police to keep his image clean and is also known to have worked with Anton Lone.

Pleasure opens up the comic by having his men chase down a woman who escaped from his grasp, The King wants her back because he likes the way she “hurts” too much, and the woman would rather die than go back to him. Solitaire then fends off Pleasure’s men before the woman could be brought back to him.

King Pleasure then appears in his “Pleasure Dome”’s throne room. When he finds out that Solitare rescued the woman, Pleasure is enraged and feels unhappy and has someone bring him “feel-goods”. It is also shown that he has two women and even a young boy captive. He is then seen preparing to rape one of his slaves, taking utter pleasure in her pleading and only stopping when he can’t “get into it”

Solitaire then arrives at the Pleasure Dome, and Pleasure orders his men to seize him. When Solitare comes face-to-face with him, Pleasure pulls out a revolver and shoots at him. When the place catches fire thanks to a chemical, Pleasure then makes his escape, leaving his slaves to die, and even saying that his insurance doesn’t cover humans.

Pleasure then tries to open up a car in order to make his escape, but is then tackled to the ground by Solitaire. He then stabs him in the eye with a key, and then tries to run away, but is then impaled by flying wood caused by an explosion. As he reveals his identity to him, Solitaire then leaves Pleasure to burn to death in his Pleasure Dome.
