Kingpin (Raimiverse game adaptations)

Wilson Fisk, better known as the Kingpin, is one of the two main antagonists (alongside Venom) of the 2007 video game Spider-Man 3, an adaptation of the eponymous superhero film.

He is a powerful crime lord that ends up crossing paths with Spider-Man and is the Apocalypse, Arsenic Candy, and Dragon Tail gangs' supreme leader after making a deal with the gangs to free their respective leaders.

He was voiced by Bob Joles, who also voiced Man Ray in SpongeBob SquarePants, the Barbarian King and Icarus in God of War II and Hades in Justice League Unlimited.

Biography[]

He is first seen in the courthouse on a phone call alongside two members of the Apocalypse gang, a member of the Arsenic Candy gang and the Dragon Tail gang, while Peter Parker takes pictures of him, Kingpin orders the gang members to free the Apocalypse Leader, Priscilla, and the Dragon Tail Leader, he then leaves the courthouse to go to his mansion. When Spider-Man breaks into Kingpin's house, Kingpin orders the Apocalypse thugs to deal with Spider-Man, Spider-Man then defeats them. Kingpin then tells Spider-Man to come in so they can talk; Spider-Man breaks the doors and then tells Kingpin that he is taking Kingpin and his whole criminal empire down. Kingpin then throws a table at him, but Spider-Man dodges it. Kingpin then goes into another room with more Apocalypse thugs coming to ambush Spider-Man, the security door doesn't work on the door that Kingpin went into for unknown reasons, Spider-Man, even with 3 the gangs, breaks the door, then confronts the Kingpin.

Kingpin then challenges Spider-Man, and then they fight, even with Spider-Man's Black Suit. Kingpin overpowers Spider-Man, smacks him through a door, smashes him through two pillars, then leaves the room, telling Spider-Man he is not worth his time, but the 3 gang leaders have grievances they wish to settle. Kingpin orders the 3 gang leaders to get Spider-Man, and even with the combined might of the 3 gang leaders, Spider-Man defeats them once again. Kingpin then tells Spider-Man to come to him so they can finish this; Spider-Man enters his room dramatically, and Kingpin smacks him off the table, and then they fight again. This time, Spider-Man is going all out on Kingpin, with his fueled rage, Spider-Man accidentally throws Kingpin out of the mansion through a window, Spider-Man remorseful of what he has done, checks where Kingpin landed, but there is no sign of him, leaving Spider-Man to think he may have survived that fall.

Trivia[]

This is one of the strongest versions of the Kingpin due to him able to put up a fight against black-suited Spider-Man.
Kingpin plays a role in the game's Game Boy Advance version, where he hires Electro to kidnap the district attorney Michael Hardy, with Spider-Man later following Kingpin while he is in his limo, and breaks into Kingpin's mansion, similar to the console version, except here, Spider-Man doesn't fight the Kingpin since there his investigation is still going on, instead Kingpin gives Spider-Man Electro's location.
