Kinnikuman Mariposa is a minor antagonist in the anime/manga series Kinnikuman.
He is one of the Five Fated Princes who act as the main antagonist force in the Survivor Match for the Kinniku Throne Arc.

Past[]
George the Thief, just like all five of the Fated Princes, was born on the same day and in the same hospital as Kinnikuman, however, a fire broke out and the mothers of the children all ran in and grabbed their children. This event would be the catalyst for the Five Evil Gods to trick each of the Five Fated Princes into believing that they may potentially be the true Prince of Planet Kinniku.
George the Thief would live in poverty and would have to become a thief in order to make a living. One day, George the Thief would travel to the house of Robin Mask and would steal the Analo Staff from him.
One day, God of Flight appeared before him and entered his body and gave him immense strength, turning him into Kinnikuman Mariposa while convincing Mariposa that he was the true Prince of Planet Kinniku. Mariposa would gather up a team of King the 100-Ton, Mixer Taitei, Mister VTR and The Hawkman to form Team Mariposa.
Kinnikuman[]
Kinnikuman Mariposa, alongside the rest of the five of Fated Princes, would reveal themselves at Kinnikuman's coronation and because there was no way to prove any of them weren't the true Prince so they had to battle in a tournament called the Survivor Match for the Kinniku Throne.
During the first round, Team Mariposa would be forced to fight against Team Kinnikuman, however, all of Team Mariposa would be defeated one by one with Mariposa himself being defeated by Robin Mask.
The God of Flight would abandon Kinnikuman Mariposa, turning him back into George the Thief.
Kinnikuman (2011)[]
Once the Omega Centauri's Six Spears appeared, the God of Flight would appear before George the Thief, informing him of the upcoming threat and granting him his strength again. Mariposa would appear before the other Fated Princes, barring Soldier, and claim their masks from the Chojin Museum before teleporting over to the Omega Centauri's Six Spears.
Omegaman Aristera would create a storm with holes that have ropes hanging from them, telling the Fated Princes and Kinnikuman to climb up them to fight against the remaining members of the Six Spears. All of them do so, each one of them being set to fight a different member of the Six Spears with Kinnikuman Mariposa fighting against Hailman.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Chojin Physiology: As a Chojin, Kinnikuman Mariposa has superhuman strength, speed and durability. Other abilities that Chojin have that Kinnikuman Mariposa likely has is the ability to grow to be as large as a building and the ability to fly without wings or thrusters, even in the vacuum of space.
- God Enhancement: After having the God of Flight give him strength, Kinnikuman Mariposa's strength was enhanced to God-like levels, overpowering most Chojin who aren't a member of the Perfect Origin or use Friendship Power.
- Analo Staff: After visiting the house of Robin Mask, he would steal the Analo Staff and would use it for himself. The Analo Staff grants anyone who wields it the ability to generate and control fire as well as granting the user protection against the fire he generates. After losing the Analo Staff, Mariposa would learn how to control fire on his own without it.
