Kiriahra Takuto is a major antagonist from book series Failure Frame: I Became the Strongest and Annihilated Everything with Low-Level Spells. He is one of the summoned "heroes" by Vysis and leader of a titular hero squad.
Appearance[]
Kirihara is a tall, handsome man with short blonde hair, black eyes, fair skin, and a well-built body. After the invocation he begins to wear a coat with fur on the neck.
Personality[]
Kirihara has a cold, self-centered personality, often looking down on others, though he doesn't go out of his way to prove his "superiority." Instead, he simply ignores those he deems unimportant. His elitist attitude stems from his privileged upbringing and his exceptional talents in various fields, which convinced him of his superiority. On Earth, however, Kirihara appeared more composed and collected, seen as a cool and mature figure who only spoke when necessary. Many female admirers viewed him this way, while others described him as charismatic.
After being chosen as an S-Rank hero, his arrogance and self-centered nature became more apparent. He openly proclaimed himself as a "chosen one" destined to rule over others. During his training, Kirihara’s immaturity began to surface as he sought to defeat the strongest enemies himself, unwilling to let others claim victory. He would boast to his group whenever he surpassed new levels, treating his progress as grand announcements. This was evident during the training at the Magic Aptitude Ruins, where he nearly injured Ayaka in his attempt to steal the final blow against the Skeleton Knight, the area's most powerful monster. Afterward, he dismissed his actions and casually thanked Ayaka for her "help."
Despite his arrogance, Kirihara can still assess situations wisely. For instance, when the Four Revered Saints arrived at Alion Kingdom to train the heroes, he refrained from challenging them, recognizing their superior strength. This allowed him to avoid the humiliation that Oyamada faced for attempting to defeat them. Even so, Kirihara remained confident, proudly declaring that he would one day surpass them and prove the power of the "King Vessel" when the time came.
