Biography[]
Kirinda was originally a powerful warrior of the Akuma Clan, but he disliked their warmongering ways and left Downworld to start a new life on the surface, taking the form of an elderly man who operated a takoyaki stand.
He would later be approached by a group of Aguma led by two bodyguards, who demanded he return to serving the Akuma Clan and attacked him when he refused. Kirinda fought off the Aguma, but this was all really a test by Mezalord. Mezalord had a group of Aguma disguise themselves as humans and approach Kirinda's granddaughter Kiriko, telling her her grandfather was in the hospital to get them to go in a car with them. Mezalord then approached Kirinda and threatened his granddaughter unless he fought the Akumaizer 3 for the Akuma Clan. At the same time, Kiriko managed to escape the Aguma and was rescued by the Akumaizer 3. Kirinda was unaware of this and went to fight the Akumaizer 3 anyway, overwhelming them with his "Aku Rin Taira" attack. With the Akumaizer 3 beaten back, Kirinda left to chase after Mezalord and demand Kiriko back.
The Akumaizer 3 sent Kiriko to be guarded by Ippei and Darunia, but Mezalord sent his bodyguards to lead a group of Aguma in recapturing Kiriko. Kirinda would fight the Akumaizer 3 again to ensure his granddaughter's safety, but was beaten back by them with their Magic Circle Attack. The Akumaizer 3 attempted to finish off Kirinda, but Kiriko intervened and broke up the fight, revealing that the Akumaizer 3. Kirinda then apologized to the Akumaizer 3, realizing they had been fighting to protect his granddaughter all this time. After the Akumaizer 3 drove Mezalord away, Kirinda resumed working as a takoyaki merchant and continued to live in peace with Kiriko.
