Kiryu Yushin is a major antagonist in Fatal Fury: Devil Street of Horror.
Appearance[]
Kiryu Yushin is a tall muscular man with black hair, a handle bar mustache, and horns.
Biography[]
As Terry and company march towards the wall to try and stop the threat the martial emperor poses, they are greeted by Kiryu Yushin, the leader of the hundred demons guarding the wall, having slumbered beneath the earth for no less than a century and a half and can emerge anywhere on Devil Street as they can please. He commends their efforts in coming this far but declares that it is all the end for them as they never let a single enemy past over the thousands of years that past.
He then tells them that they will die a "swiftless and painless" death before sending his underlings to deal with them. As a mad beast demon was entering the fray, Kiryu tells them that if they are to fight him, they must defeat his underlings first.
He then orders them to unleash the mad beast so it can maul them like an animal in front of his demon spawn. Bear, however, opt to take the fiend head on and manages to dispatch it. Bear then challenges all the demons in order to take them all down with Terry and the other three fighters take them on. As they were beating down the demons, Mai gets ensnared and dragged into another structure, forcing Andy to split off and try to save her while they focus on the remaining demons. As they were fighting the demons, one of them reveals that by killing each of the demons, they will kill one person each to reflect each demon killed by showing that at least six people were hanged.
As Terry, Joe, and Bear rush to save the remaining people alive, one of the demons uses a "War Fist: Fissure Blast" technique to destroy the structure when they were getting close, seemingly killing them. When his subordinates ask what to do with their hostages, Kiryu tells them to slay the captive villagers.
However, the trio reveal they survived being crushed and no worse for wear. They then proceed to continue their fight against the remaining demons. As the demons were being brutalized, Kiryu is starting to lose his cool when Ranjaku steps in to deal with them.
Ranjaku proceeds to unleash his "Hundred Demon Killing Art: Violent Peacock", an attack that launches dozens of spears against his victims. However, Bear grabs a massive concrete block to shield Terry and companies from the spears. Bear insists that Terry and the others to go ahead and put a stop to the remaining demons.
However, they do not like this and proceed to grab a spear and finish off the remaining demons. Kiryu laughs at this determination as Ranjaku commands the remaining demons to attack.
Mai returns to battle in time to save the remaining hostages by dispatching the demons watching over them. She then unleashes a mob of angry villagers on the demons occupying the wall.
Andy also proceeds to join in on the fight and calls out Ranjaku out on ditching his comrades to save his own skin before he gets stabbed muiltiple times by the angry mob. Witnessing the death of Ranjaku and having only seventeen other demons left, Kiryu decides to take the gloves off and take things into his own hands.
When the mob moves onto him, he proceeds to use an art where he can melt off his victims' flesh and leave their bones behind. He also proceeds to prepare beam attacks on the entire crown when Terry opts to deal with him himself.
As the fight rages on, Terry calls him out on the suffering of people he tortured. But Kiryu tells him to be silent has he tries to roast him alive. However, Terry manages to leap above Kiryu and stike him with a power geyser. As Terry tries to walk away, Kiryu made one last attempt on his life, but dies as a result of his bone fractures.
