Kiryuu Miyazawa is a major character in the seinen martial arts manga series, Tough. He is an archenemy and rival of his nephew, Kiichi Miyazawa, the twin brother of Seiko Miyazawa, and the biological father of Ryuusei Nagaoka and Marcio Naitou. Like his brothers, he is a heir to the Nadashinkage-ryuu martial arts which makes him a powerful warrior with abilities deemed superhuman by ordinary people.
Where his brother Seiko is a compassionate and pure-hearted man who refrains from brutality and unneeded violence, Kiryuu is more than eager to exploit his talents in a brutal manner and has a thirst for bloodshed, going to great lengths to assert his martial arts dominance in search of worthy opponents. He acts as a foil to his brother and a corrupting influence towards his nephew Kiichi, Seiko's son, but occasionally they cast their differences aside to fight common enemies so his role will alternate between an Anti-Hero and an Anti-Villain from time to time.

Kiryuu is a tall brutish Japanese man with an immensely powerful body forged by harsh training and numerous battles, as fitting for a successor of the Nadashinkage-ryuu. Perhaps most prominent among his battle scars is the horizontal scar on his face running between his eyes and nose. He has black slicked back hair and is always seen wearing a black T-shirt under a black coat.
Due to being monozygotic twins, Kiryuu and his brother Seiko are nearly identical physically, with their differences being mainly accentuated through their mannerisms and aesthetical choices. Kiryuu has exploited their resemblance at one point by disguising himself as Seiko to throw enemies off his trail, even managing to temporarily erase his facial scar through a secret technique in order to achieve this.
