~ Maze Hunter Kitana to Empress Tanya
Kitana is a minor antagonist of Mortal Kombat 1, serving as a number of more malicious counterparts of the main Kitana.
In Titan Shang Tsung's timeline, Kitana was reborn as one of his servants, and joined her master when he invaded Fire God Liu Kang's New Era. She, her sister, alongside fellow evil versions of Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Baraka, Reptile, Tanya, Li Mei, and Nitara made a strike on his Hourglass to planning to destroy Liu Kang's timeline. While the others fought Liu Kang and his Titan allies, Kitana and Mileena stayed with Shang Tsung and channelled energy to destroy the Hourglass. They began to successfully crack it, but after Liu Kang and the others fought past the Dark minions, Shang Tsung ordered them to instead kill them. They faced the Titan Kitana and Liu Kang, the former of whom was unsettled at the both of them being evil versions of her, and were taken out in the subsequent duel, and escaped with their master when he retreated. In the subsequent Battle of Armageddon, several evil Kitanas were among the Order of Darkness.
Khaos Reigns[]
Another alternate version of Kitana features in the DLC, Khaos Reigns, as one of the wardens of Titan Havik's Maze, along with her sister Mileena. They were tasked with guarding the captured Dragon Orin, and were cruel to her, starving her for days prior to the events of the DLC.
