Klaatu is a minor antagonist in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. He was portrayed by Corey Dee Williams.
Klaatu was a henchman of crime lord Jabba the Hutt, who was employed by him to repair his sand skiffs, alongside Barada. He was present when the Twi'lek dancer Oola resisted Jabba's advances, and witnessed her execution by being fed to the Rancor with amusement. He also watched Jabba's attempted execution of Luke Skywalker by feeding him to the Rancor, which resulted in the deaths of the Rancor and Jubnuk, a guard at Jabba's palace who fell into the pit with Luke. Klaatu was also part of Jabba's entourage on board his sail barge the Khetanna when Jabba attempted to execute Luke, Han Solo and Chewbacca by feeding them to the Sarlacc. When Luke escaped and jumped onto the sail barge, Klaatu and several other guards attacked him. Klaatu fired at Luke with his blaster, only for Luke to use his lightsabre to deflect the shot back at Klaatu, killing him.
- In the novelisation, Klaatu manages to survive Luke's initial assault, and is instead killed when Jabba's sail barge explodes, whereas the role of the guard who dies when Luke deflects his shot back at him is given to Wooof.
- Speaking of Wooof, he was originally given Klaatu's entire role in the film, as Klaatu's character was originally named Wooof, until he was renamed Klaatu and the Wooof name was given to a different character.
