Klim's Loyalists are the main antagonists of Metro Exodus: Sam's Story.
They were the rogue, disillusioned members of Tom's namesake mercenary unit, who secretly sided with Tom's right-hand man Klim, in their plans to depose him and take over Vladivostok's leadership by force. They are bent on taking over the nuclear submarine, U.S.S. Mayflower, and use its weapons against human survivors, irrespective of the lives and the damage it would cause in the long run. They are also responsible for the massacre of Baranov's crew members in the Vladivostok's upper marsh.
Event's of Sam's Story[]
Near the end of the DLC, Klim and his own rogue unit later initiated a full-scale coup against Baranov and Tom, where he revealed Tom's attempted reneging of Klim was a part of Baranov's deal. Despite their efforts of taking over the U.S.S. Mayflower as revenge for Tom, they were eventually soon defeated by Samuel Taylor, leading to Klim's death.
Firepower[]
Like Tom's mercenaries, members of Klim's Loyalists are armed with pre-war weapons and ammunition. This puts them at a significant advantage against bandits. They also utilize the usage of mutants they captured, particularly Humanimals, against their enemies.
