The story of Klump from Donkey Kong Country TV Series.
Biography[]
Season 1[]
Bad Hair Day[]
King K. Rool, Klump, and the Kremlings launched an invasion of Cranky's house, hoping to seize the Crystal Coconut. They even sent a Kiaptrap to wreak havoc there, and victory seemed within reach until Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong showed up to stop them. The Kremlings quickly retreated, escaping back to base.
Once there, Rool hatched a plan. He wanted to take down Donkey Kong by using Klump's hair as a disguise to get close. Rool decided to create a Candy Clone to trick Donkey Kong. Once the clone was ready, Rool cut Klump's hair, inadvertently causing him to lose his strength in the process. Now, they would have to rely on their cunning to execute the plan and try again to defeat the Kongs!
The Big Chill Out[]
King K. Rool noticed that his Kremlings were absent and went to find out why. He discovered them enjoying iced coconut drinks, which had become popular thanks to Donkey Kong and Diddy. In the chaos, Klump accidentally knocked one of the Kremlings out, and Rool took the opportunity to ask if he could share. He ordered Klump to bring him more drinks. One by one, the Kremlings were knocked out while King K. Rool drank all the coconuts.
Once he finished, the Kremlings sought revenge for their stolen drinks. Rool then had an idea: they would make an even better version themselves. Klump worked all night, but by morning, Rool was impatiently reminding him that they were waiting for the drinks. Klump finished the concoction but needed volunteers to taste it—none were willing. He decided to test it himself, but it didn't go well.
King K. Rool used a barrel to gather coconut chills successfully. However, as everyone started drinking, they ended up consuming too much and began freezing from the cold.
Buried Treasure[]
King K. Rool was trying to connect with Klump, who reported that the Kongs were heading to the mines in search of treasure. Curious, Rool asked Klump what kind of treasure they were after. Klump believed it was a special rock. Rool, eager to seize that treasure for himself, thought of using it to rule Kongo Bongo.
Just as Klump was about to relay more information, he accidentally dropped the phone, which was then destroyed by Krusha. Now, with his communication line cut, Rool was even more determined to get to the treasure before the Kongs could!
Cranky's Tickle Tonic[]
Klump and the Kremlings were marching when Diddy Kong unexpectedly landed on Klump. After the initial surprise, Klump thanked him and noticed a helicopter overhead. Sensing something was wrong, Diddy Kong quickly reported to King K Rool about the suspicious aircraft. Intrigued and cautious, King K Rool called his Kremlings to devise a plan to investigate the helicopter and protect Kongo Bongo from any potential threat.
Orangutango[]
King K Rool challenged Kong Dance, with the winner not only receiving the Crystal Coconut but also the throne of Kongo Bongo. Rool selected Krusha and Klump as his dance partners and began practicing. Klump was the first to try out the dance but struggled with his moves. Rool took the time to teach them both how to dance better in hopes of defeating the Kongs.
During the dance-off, Klump ended up giving his turn to Rool, and then Krusha danced. Donkey Kong and Candy Kong followed, showcasing their skills. Ultimately, King K Rool emerged victorious. With his win, he claimed the Crystal Coconut and made a wish to rule over Kongo Bongo. However, when he saw Klump's silly dancing, he regretted his wish, realizing it was foolish to wish for power without considering the consequences.
Feeling trapped by the situation, Rool commanded Klump to do something, but Klump decided to run away, and foolishly, he, along with Rool and Krusha, ended up in a predicament.
Speed[]
Klump used a speed cart with Krusha to try and halt their plans, but instead, he ended up getting hit by the cart. When Klump checked on Krusha, he was surprised to find him speaking clearly and showing unexpected intelligence; it turned out the cart had reversed his condition while he was making shadow puppets. King K. Rool sought to teach Krusha about evil using a Candy Clone, but Klump was hesitant after their last failure.
Despite his reservations, Klump warned Krusha that the Kongs were coming. When Krusha checked, he realized a bomb wasn't part of the plan, seeing only Diddy and Dixie. Trying to scare them off, his efforts failed and the Candy Clone plan backfired. Krusha then informed King K. Rool and Klump that he had rigged the cart with explosives—if it was stopped, it would blow up. Klump grew worried about Diddy and Dixie’s safety if the cart were to explode.
As they made their move to Cranky's house to steal the crystals of the coconut, Donkey Kong arrived just in time. Klump hurriedly warned them that Diddy and Dixie were in danger if the cart stopped. With everything on the line, they all learned that the situation was dire.
Afterward, Krusha and Klump returned to base, intent on taking over the world once they eliminated the Kongs. However, Klump expressed concern about saving Rool from an explosion, and Krusha, ignoring the warning, ended up getting hit by the cart again, returning to his normal self. Klump was relieved, thinking they could save King K. Rool, but it turned out the devices were just a decoy and not functional at all. Unfortunately, in the ensuing chaos, the cart did explode, but by some luck, King K. Rool managed to escape unscathed.
Klump's Lumps[]
Klump was busy devising his next scheme to snag the Crystal Coconut. Before he could lay out his ideas, King K. Rool interrupted him with a stern question: how many times had he attempted to steal the Coconut from the Kongs? Klump fumbled for an answer but was met with K. Rool's furious shout of "Time's up!" and a warning that he better come up with something or face dire consequences.
Cowering in fear, Klump tried to present his plans involving distractions with barrels at Barrel Work, but nothing seemed to work. As he nervously checked one of the barrels, it suddenly exploded, adding to his already mounting failure.
That was the last straw for King K. Rool. Furious, he fired Klump and exiled him from the clan forever. As all the Kremlings turned to watch, Klump walked away in shame; even Krusha gave him a sympathetic glance before K. Rool called him back, making it clear that it was time for Klump to leave and be alone.

Klump sat in the forest, crying over his exile. When Dixie found him, he initially thought she was spying, but she explained she wanted to tell him something important. He shared his misery, revealing he had no real friends except for her. Understanding his plight, Dixie brought him to the Kongs. They were shocked to see Klump, and Dixie explained that King K. Rool had kicked him out, leaving him alone and lost.
The next morning, Klump used his newfound enthusiasm to wake up Cranky, resulting in DK and Diddy crashing into each other in the chaos. Excited to start his new life, he announced that breakfast would be ready at 0700 hours. However, as he walked out, he failed to watch his step and fell off the boardwalk.
Determined to help, Klump tried fixing barrels for Cranky, but when Cranky stepped on one, it went flying, and Klump ended up falling off the boardwalk once again. Later, while repairing the Donkey Kong elevator with Dixie, she asked him how he liked living there. He admitted it wasn’t easy living in a tree but assured her he was getting the hang of it. He expressed a desire for friendship with her.
Meanwhile, Diddy and Donkey Kong had a meeting about Klump's adjustment to life with them. They considered asking him if he wanted to leave, but Klump overheard their conversation and, feeling discouraged, thought about kicking himself out.
With nowhere else to turn, Klump accepted King K. Rool's daring mission to steal the Crystal Coconut in exchange for returning the Kremlings. At Cranky's cabin, just as Klump was about to take the Coconut, Dixie caught him and confronted him about stealing. He tried to explain it was Rool's orders and that he wanted to help rid the Kongs of the threat. Suddenly, Dixie's scream echoed from the cabin, part of Klump's plan to lure Donkey Kong. Rushing to K. Rool, who was hiding behind a fake bush, Klump explained he was outnumbered. The king doubted him, thinking only Dixie was inside, but just then, Donkey Kong arrived, stomping on a Trigger Barrel. Before the trap could activate, the Kremlings jumped off the bridge.
In the forest, Dixie sat feeling down when she suddenly discovered her pet lobster, Thermidor, had returned. He was in a container with a note attached. As she read the note, she realized it was Klump who had brought him back. This made her see that he wasn't as bad as she thought.
With Thermie in hand, she left the area, unaware that Klump was hiding nearby. Overhearing everything, Klump couldn't help but cry, touched by the realization that he had a true friend in Dixie.
Bluster’s Sale Ape-Stravaganza[]
King K. Rool was settled in watching TV when Klump burst in with news about a secret weapon he devised. Klump was eager for a volunteer but turned to Krusha for help, only to find him glued to his favorite show. Every week, Rool would take inspiration from TV to plan his conquests over Kongo Bongo Island. Klump suggested they could use the crystal coconut to broadcast their schemes, but he didn't quite understand how it would work. Rool, frustrated, yelled at him to get to work.
Checking for Kongs, Klump noticed none were around, which was perfect for their mission to snatch the crystal coconut. King K. Rool, filled with confidence from his TV persona, was sure they'd succeed. Klump hesitated, sensing he might be asking too many questions, so he quickly shifted to talking about their secret weapon and reminded Klump to keep it under wraps.
Meanwhile, Klump daydreamed about using their energy weapon to take down the enemy as Rool prepared to go live. Krusha eagerly watched the broadcast, unaware of the mischief about to unfold. When K. Rool began his grand speech, promising to be the new ruler of Kongo Bongo Island, Klump interrupted with a warning about a nearby goose that had snuck in, causing chaos.
Rool, growing impatient, snapped at Klump to silence himself and get the secret weapon ready. Suddenly, they heard someone—Cranky Kong—snoring away. Rool ordered Klump to take care of the sleeping Kong, as their operation was ready to commence.
With Klump inside a barrel, Rool used the secret weapon to launch him toward the crystal coconut. Things quickly went awry as Klump got stuck, swinging back toward them and landing in a dizzy heap while Krusha hilariously pressed buttons, inadvertently taking them down to the basement.
Bug a Boogie[]
Klump and Krusha were engrossed in an episode of Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong when Klump remembered he needed to report to King K. Rool. He grabbed the banana phone and rushed back to the lair, informing Rool that the Kongs were using it to strategize.
After reporting, Klump and Krusha ventured into the forest, but the fog quickly thickened. They soon found themselves stuck in the mud. “This is great,” Klump grumbled, struggling to free his feet. Krusha looked around nervously. “We can’t let Rool down!” They knew they needed to escape quickly before the Kongs could outmaneuver them.
Watch the Skies[]
King K. Rool was plotting to steal the Crystal Coconut when a distracted Klump started babbling nonsense. Rool warned him to keep his eyes closed while he laid out the plan. Using a barrel as an "alien ship," Rool commanded Klump to maintain max security, but Klump fumbled around, tripping and eventually opting to make a sandwich instead.
Determined, Klump recruited Diddy Kong for their "alien invasion" to grab the Coconut. Although the initial plan seemed promising, chaos ensued, leading to a crash. Frustrated, King K. Rool threatened to send both of them to the moon for their failure.
To the Moon Baboon[]
Klump and King K. Rool returned to their base after overhearing everything, only to be interrupted by Kritter, who demanded the return of his dental records. Rool, annoyed, stepped out of the lair but got knocked on the head by a lightbulb.
While Klump and Krusha waited for Rool to wake up, Klump eventually roused him. Rool was confused and forgot his plans, but Klump reminded him about sending the Kong to the moon. Suddenly, Rool remembered and asked if rocket ships counted as part of history. He yelled at Klump for implying he was trying to destroy history instead of being part of it.
As they prepared to move on with their scheme, a little critter interrupted them, asking if they had seen Fang. Klump pointed him in the right direction before the critter rambled about the TV they watched. Rool, growing impatient, ordered them to be quiet, unaware of the impact his actions would have on future generations’ view of his legacy.
A Thin line between love & ape[]
Klump and Krusha were gearing up at Cranky's house, ready to steal the Crystal Coconut. Klump decided to use a bonk stick, thinking it would only affect one Kong, but Krusha misjudged the situation and ended up stepping back and falling over.
While searching for the Coconut, they stumbled upon a Kong who believed he had it. They burst in and stole a love potion that he had tested on Klump, causing him to fall for Rool, which surprisingly seemed to work.
The plan initially succeeded when they used Candy Kong to lure the Crystal Coconut, but the potion's side effects sparked a fit of rage in Klump. This chaos eventually led to everything returning to normal. Donkey Kong stepped in with a few reminders to calm the situation, while Rool, exhausted from the frenzy, ran away in defeat.
Barre, barrel ... Got the Barrel[]
Klump rushed to report to King K. Rool that the Crystal Coconut was missing from the rocket barrel. Rool, furious, ordered him to retrieve it before the Kongs noticed it was gone.
Klump and his team of Kritters headed to the Barrel Factory, where they ran into Bluster Kong. Although Bluster didn’t have the Crystal Coconut, he mentioned it might have gone missing with the rocket barrel. He then handed Klump a clipboard that he had found on the beach, which could help them track it down. Klump quickly took the clipboard, ready to follow the clues and find the Coconut before it was too late.
Klump soon realized he had been set up and confronted Bluster Kong, demanding the Crystal Coconut. Bluster refused to cooperate, prompting Klump to order a Kritter to blast him. When they yelled "fire," chaos ensued as the Kritter misfired and began blasting randomly. "Stop blasting!" Klump shouted, panic rising as he knew he'd fail the mission. King K. Rool then demanded to know where the Crystal Coconut was. Klump explained it was inside the barrel, but it was too late—Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong had already reclaimed it. With Rool's plans backfiring, Klump tried to evade Rool's anger as he chased after him, desperate to avoid blame.
Season 2[]
Hooray for Holly Kongo Bongo[]
Klump and Krusha overheard Bongo on the island and rushed to report to King K. Rool. They conveyed the exciting news about a movie being made on the island, presenting Rool with a golden opportunity to become a star and attract an audience. Eager to impress Bluster Kong, King K. Rool, Klump, and Krusha rallied their efforts to prepare the audience. The film began with Klump and Krusha portraying villains, and as Donkey Kong discovered them, King K. Rool felt a sense of pride, especially seeing Klump's impressive performance. The whole scenario was unfolding just as Rool had hoped.
Speak No Evil Dude[]
Klump used his scaling tool to give King K. Rool a back massage, but something seemed to trouble him. He confided that he had a dream about conquering Kongo Bongo Island, yet he couldn’t remember the details of how he achieved it. Just then, Diddy Kong spotted Klump and Krusha marching with King K. Rool and warned them to return to headquarters.
Once back at headquarters, Rool attempted to address his minions, but something went awry, and he found himself unable to speak to Klump, believing he had dropped below the mine. Just then, Cranky Kong interrupted, preventing Rool from causing chaos and potentially blowing up the island. Klump, suspecting it might be a trick, hesitated until Rool finally managed to communicate. Once he was able to, Rool instructed Klump to stop the bomb from detonating and save the island from disaster.
